Clothing was still a thing that itched and made her uncomfortable, even after all these years, unless it was made of natural materials. She had been wearing a soft dress while she was touring the grounds, walking around barefoot simply because it made her feel closer to her natural state. Sure, she loved shoes, they were wonderful, but it was nice enough weather to not wear them and so she decided she wasn't going to.
Walking around, it didn't take her too long to find a good place to get a little sun soaked up. Her dress was loose enough that she didn't need to take it off before shifting (and she preferred not wearing underwear to begin with), so she shifted and just emerged from the dress, shaking it off as she moved around a few steps.
Once she was satisfied she was properly free from the dress, she found a nice place to leap from and made her way onto the workshop roof before she sprawled out. It took her a moment to get comfortable, but then she was happily just grooming her paws for a moment before she lay there near the edge, watching the grounds below her.

There was a cat in his spot. A cat. Not a jaguar or another leopard, not a cheetah or a lynx. A domestic cat.
Kole stood on the ground in front of the workshop looking up at the feline with a frown on his face. Did she not know that that particular perch was already claimed? He was sure it smelt enough like him after the many hours that he'd spent lounging on it, rolling on it, or just plain sat there. The leopard did not look impressed as he stood on the grass with his arms folded across his chest. His guard stood back a couple of meters, his finger resting on the button that would autoinject him with a tranquiliser. Of course, he wasn't about to press it, the blonde was doing nothing more than glaring at a damn cat upon the roof of the building.
"I'm going up," he said, he didn't care whether or not he was heard, in the next moment he'd made a running leap at the nearest tree. His fingers caught the branch and he swang himself up onto it with all of the grace of his species. From there it didn't take long to clamber up a couple more branches and make the leap onto the rooftop.
He eyed the cat as he approached, she smelt feline, but was she just a cat? Regardless, his leopard wasn't happy about the intruder and an animalistic hiss of warning passed his lips as he bent over to try and pick the cat up by the scruff of the neck.

Ella had noticed the scent on the roof, but honestly she didn’t care. It was the perfect place to just flop and sprawl out. Besides, she kind of liked the wild scent. And she kind of enjoyed the idea of claiming their territory for herself for a while to give them something to think about when they returned later. So she’s been happy to lay there and sleep until she heard someone approaching.
Turning so she looked over the edge of the roof and down at the boy, Ella’s tail swatted lazily against the roof as she studied the boy and the guard behind him. She almost smiled when he declared that he was going up, not bothered in the slightest to move from her spot. No sir, she was comfortable and that was all that mattered.
It dawned on her when he was on the roof that of course the scent here was a werecreature or shifter, because why the hell would there be a wild cat here? And this was obviously his spot. Not that it mattered, he was hissing at her. It wasn’t worthy of a response until he picked her up like that and she hissed back at him. “Put me down, you imbecile,” she meowed at him. She tried to twist in his grip to get her claws into him in case he wasn’t in a listening mood. Had he not heard of sharing?

Imbecile? Kole scowled at the words that registered to him but that simply little insult made it all too certain that he wouldn't be letting go of this stupid little cat. Some kind of shifter he was guessing, not that it mattered, she was a rude feline who needed to be taught a lesson. Kole chuckled darkly as she squirmed in his grip but even as her claws found his skin he didn't so much as flinch, blood even trickled down his wrist from a particularly deeper scratch caused by her hind leg.
"No respect for your betters," he muttered coldly. The blonde tightened his grip on the fur of her neck and took a step closer to the edge of the roof. He was a leopard, she a mere tiny cat, he was under the impression that yes, he was better than her. If better is measured in strength anyway.. Not to mention that he'd literally picked her up and she was unable to do anything about it, did she had another form? Would she show him? Did he care? Not exactly, the wereleopard was more annoyed that he was bleeding.
"This spot is taken." He added with a scowl and with no hesitation he flicked his wrist and lower arm out with every intention of simply tossing her off of the roof. Good riddance.

If he hadn't grabbed hold of her like that, she might have shifted back to fend him off, as it was, well, it just felt less awkward being a feline right now than human. And she got to draw blood without it being too 'weird' or considered 'dangerous' behavior. Cats scratched when they weren't happy. It seemed more natural to lash out in that form and less likely to get her in trouble than if she'd shifted right now. Besides, if she shifted on the roof, she might get in trouble simply for being nude.
Ella tried to hold on when he tossed her off the roof, but in the end, she wound up over the edge and shifting mid-fall to land crouched on the ground. Well, partially shifting anyway. Walking around the building to where she'd left her dress, she slipped it over her head and shrugged slightly before she climbed back up. "I don't care," she said simply, her gray tail brushing the roof as she sat down again. "You smell good," she added as an afterthought and somewhat of a justification for not caring. Turning her head to look at him, her eyes were still the green of her cat, eyeing him curiously for a moment.
"So, what? You think you're better just because you're a big cat?" she asked, genuinely curious. Because only being able to be either cat or human didn't really make him better in her mind.

Kole leant over a little to glimpse down at the floor when she went flying off of the roof. He'd kind of hoped that she'd just scuttle off into a bush and feel sorry for herself, or dart across the lawns to escape. However, she did neither of those things. Instead she'd shifted impossibly quickly and crouched on the ground seemingly unaffected. He grunted in annoyance and lifted his wrist to lick at the split in his skin. She still had her tail.. What was she? He eyed her suspiciously but never asked, he didn't care enough too.
The compliment did little other than to annoy him somewhat and he sighed before taking a seat on the roof himself. He had the slight higher ground where he was so he was calm enough to know he could kick her in the face or shoulder if she attempted to move closer. He was suddenly grateful that he didn't still have his tail when he shifts back.
Kole sniffed somewhat haughtily when she asked that question and he gave her a look of disdain, "I know I'm better than you because of simple fact. You're a pet." He doesn't know her history, he's literally going off of the species of cat she was. A domestic little kitten, he can vaguely remember his neighbours having a similar cat. It was almost as haughty as he is now so of course he doesn't it like much. Kole rarely likes anybody, even those like him, "and annoying."
There was no specific reason why she was annoying, she hadn't done anything wrong, but still, she'd invaded his space. He was being defensive. It was mostly his cat's fault this.

Ella was quite content where she was sitting and in no hurry to move in any direction. When he sat down too, she busied herself licking her fingers before running them through her hair and giggled at what he said about her being a pet. “Only when I want to be,” she said, chuckling slightly. “If that’s meant to be an insult or a bad thing, I don’t think you see the bigger picture. Being waited on during the day, raiding the fridge and jewelry boxes at night… Nobody suspects the cat of stealing their valuables.” Ella didn’t see that as a bad thing at all, she had merely been using those people ever since she discovered she could take human form. Of course, she also enjoyed being doted on. “No human anyway.”
He thought she was annoying? Because she wasn’t scared off after being thrown off the roof, or because she had gone up here in the first place? Whatever. “Annoying is fair though,” she said, stretching slightly before she leaned back until her back was touching the roof, feet still dangling off the edge. “Tell you what else is annoying,” she said, shifting all the way to human this time. “Blending in. Wearing clothes, the list is a mile long.” She wasn’t in a hurry to get off of this roof though and if he pushed her off again, she would push back next time. She just wanted the warmth and he didn’t have a size advantage right now. That was the only reason why she wasn’t just sticking to her feline form.
“Nothing better in the world than being pampered simply because you’re pretty, and fed delicious fish. Fish oil is good for the fur after all. And if the people aren’t giving me what I want, well, there’s always just wandering through town until the next place comes along and provides an opportunity. Replaceable, disposable, and useful.” Ella was aware that that didn’t sound quite right, but she also knew she rarely stayed in one place if she didn’t like it. Hell, there were places she had enjoyed so much that she had left without stealing anything because they’d really spoiled her.

He cocked a brow when she told him he wasn't seeing the bigger picture. She was right. He didn't see things the way she saw them. "You'd debase yourself like that in order to steal from people?" He doesn't generally allow much, if any, affection in his life, it's not something he's accustomed too anymore and in all honesty he doesn't believe he misses it, "you're practically one level beneath a common whore," he licked his lips and gave her a rather cursory glance, "I used to live off of scum like you." Which is a little hypocritical because he too is scum really, but he knows he is and he doesn't mind the label. He's garbage and he won't fight such a label. Nor attempt to prove himself, he condemned his fate back when he was a kid in his mind.
He sighed when she continued to speak and he rubbed at the bridge of his nose with a thumb and forefinger in what seemed to be almost pained exasperation. What an absolute pain in the ass this was. Why couldn't she have just broken a leg when she'd been thrown off of the roof? It was only polite after all. But no, she's clambered on back up and now she was chatting away, he might not be able to feel a headache but she was just one personified.
"That's annoying," he growled out, "that incessant jabbering away like that, the damn random facts and tidbits about your life. I didn't ask and I honestly couldn't have given a fuck if somebody had shoved you in a bag and tried to throw you in the river or whatever other tragic shit you're bound to spout out eventually. I just want to toss you right back off of this bloody roof."
He was tempted to shift and just bat her off of the roof repeatedly. But it'd take him a minute to do so and he doesn't like the idea of being seen doing it. He was private about some things.. It didn't always sound nice, being a bitten wereleopard his shifts weren't as smooth as those born, "just. Shut up. Or I'll toss you off again. Or eat you. I haven't decided."

It seemed they had a very big difference of opinion on what the big picture was here. “Now now, a common whore can’t be too picky about her johns. I pick and choose with care. I’d say that at least earns me a comparison with a high-end call girl.” This kid really was beneath her for so many reasons, but he had a good spot she wanted to utilize so she kept it to herself, even if she was sure her tone betrayed her point of view on the matter. “You don’t even know what kind of scum I am, I’d hate to see you get hurt trying to live off of me,” she countered. She had particularly enjoyed giving assholes nothing but their worst nightmares for days on end when they rubbed her wrong. Maybe she should look into finding her way to this guy while he was sleeping...
Ella couldn’t help but smirk when he used so many words to essentially tell her to shut up. He was wordy too clearly. “Madre de Dios, so dramatic,” she said, chuckling slightly. She wasn’t moving from her spot though, instead she closed her eyes for a moment and really focused on the roof. In her mind, it was covered in grass and all soft and fluffy, at least around her, butterflies flying around and everything. When she opened her eyes, she’d managed to make a butterfly illusion at least, even if all the rest hadn’t materialized it was clearly what she’d wanted the most. Laying there on her back, she swatted at the illusion and smiled to herself.
“Oh, feel free,” she replied, turning her head to smirk at him. “To eat me that is. Not why I don’t wear underwear, but definitely a perk,” she teased. She honestly didn’t like it out of convenience. It was easier to get in and out of her clothes for shifts if she didn’t wear any. At that, she went back to batting at her illusion. Now who said she wasn’t easily amused?

Kole didn't give enough of a shit to try and understand her 'big picture', he literally doesn't care in the slightest about the woman in front of him and her continuing to speak to him and not just go away was making him a little more than annoyed right now. The cat inside of him was under the impression that they should just bite into her throat and hold her down until she stops squirming. Whether that be due to death or submission he doesn't particularly care. The predatory look in his gaze was probably enough to tip her off over the thoughts in his head as he stared at her coldly. There wasn't a touch of friendliness there. "I don't get hurt," he snarled, "and I'm quite sure any attempt you made would be pathetic." Like a chihuahua attacking a doberman.
He raised a brow when the butterfly appeared, so she wasn't just a shifter, there was more too her than that. Did that matter to him though? Not particularly. Kole watched the butterfly flutter about and more than wanting to swat at that his cat wanted to swat at her hand, or sink his teeth into her wrist to toss her off of the roof again. He'd slid a little closer to her without really realising it, close enough for him to reach out and poke her with his foot if he so wished. The butterfly made no noise.. It wasn't real. Illusion. Trickery magic.
"Definitely a common whore," he added with a mutter in response to her teasing smirk as he cast her a look of utmost disdain, "my estimations of you have fallen even further now, believe it or not. Can you get your diseased ass off of my roof before you stank it up?" Or he decides to kick her off.
Actually fuck it. He shuffled forward on his ass and bent his knee up in an attempt to drive his foot onto her shoulder and hopefully push her over the edge. Stupid cat.

This kitten had issues. So angry and hateful. Geez. Who ate his food? It was just a roof… “Still bleed even if you can’t feel it,” she said simply, shrugging slightly. And she hadn’t really tried to hurt him, just tried to get him to put her down. “And in human form… Well.. Don’t assume you’ve got the advantage just because you’re a bigger cat.” She could still use her claws after all, could probably scratch his eyes right out if she wanted to. Not that she particularly wanted to. It was more a case of if she had to.
Ella noticed he was closer now, but she was ready to turn around and bite him if he tried to kick her. If she didn’t have to, she was more than happy to play with the butterfly illusion though. “Don’t get sick,” was all she had to say when he commented on her being diseased like that.
As Kole shuffled forward, Ella rolled backward ending up in a crouched stance hissing at the kid. She had decided not to bite him after all. Too icky in human form. And sinking her claws into him again might just get her into trouble. “Arrogant boy,” she said, keeping her eyes trained on him.

It may just be a roof but for somebody with very little this roof was his territory. Pretty much the only thing that he has that nobody else could mess with and this fucking kitten had intruded and seemed proud of herself for doing so. He hated her. Hated her because she knew, she must know what territory means to an animal and yet her smug ass was intruding nonetheless. Kole wanted to kill her. To wring her neck and toss her into the bushes. There was no respect here, this bitch had no respect. "I assume I have the advantage because I do, you're smaller than me, weaker than me, females usually are. And I've killed, have you, little kitty? Have you watched the light in somebody's eyes die because of you?" He had and he wanted to see her fade. Nothing would make him happier right now.
'Don't get sick'. He refrained from gritting his teeth at her smartassed attitude, he'd only end up cracking a tooth and he couldn't be dealing with something else irritating on top of the annoyance already in front of him. There was nothing about her that interested him and he wanted her gone from his sight.
She moved quickly and ended up hissing at him, a movement that had his own cat raising it's hackles in response. Arrogance, arrogance, what on earth did this have to do with arrogance? This was fact, he wasn't afraid of her and she obviously wasn't afraid of him, but in his mind that didn't matter. The difference between them was his intent to kill, was she prepared to kill if she had too? Not everybody had that in them. Kole's eyes had bled from their sky blue to the meadow green of his cat and without warning he launched himself at the smaller figure in front of him, intending to knock her to the ground and rather brutally punch her in the face. Repeatedly if needs be, at least until she's unconscious and so will finally have shut the fuck up.

Ella couldn’t really explain why she hadn’t just jumped straight down again after discovering that the roof was claimed by another cat. Maybe it was just that she’d wanted a challenge, or maybe she’d just wanted to be a nuisance. What it really boiled down to was probably that it was a warm surface and the best place to soak up a little warmth. She didn’t care if she turfed someone out for a little while. Ella shrugged at his question. “I’ve given people heart-attacks in their sleep before, but I don’t have to want to kill you. I just have to be smarter and faster to survive you.” Especially considering he had a guard assigned to him. All she had to do was be smarter. There were ways of incapacitating people without killing them after all.
Maybe hissing hadn’t been the best choice of action, but it had been what came naturally to her and she was never one to fight that in situations where she didn’t have to. As Kole knocked her over, Ella attempted to keep her legs bent so she could use them to push him off of her if she could get the soles of her feet to connect with his hips. And if pushing him back like that didn’t work, she shifted out her claws and attempted to slash across his face. None of her instincts said to protect her face, they said to use her claws to scratch at him and try to kick him off while he was being punchy.

Good luck to her getting into the secure ward and then even more luck to her on getting through the security measures to open his door. He was quite positive that he wouldn't have to sleep with one eye open because she wouldn't be able to get to him, sleeping or not. Even his leopard wasn't worried, it just saw her as something to be swatted away. Or bitten around the throat until she submits. Silly, pathetic little feline. "You've given people heart attacks, I've sank teeth into a beating heart.." He glowered at her a little more, did she think that she sounded intimidating by telling him that, "I'm not even sure most people here can have heart attacks. We're not pathetic little humans." As for her being faster than him.
Well, he's pretty damn fast.
Pushing him back worked just fine enough, her feet just so happened to vault him back just as he was rearing back to try and slam his fist into her again. He probably looked shocked for all of a fraction of a second before he went tumbling back over the roof. His body probably looked somewhat contorted when he came to a stop, but the shift had come over him prompted by both anger and the need to defend himself from this absolute pain in the ass. So as golden fur sprouted through pale skin and bones snapped and reformed all that sounded from his throat was a low, dangerous growl. The cat could only wait so long for it's body to be usable. Less than a minute later his clothes still hung from him, but the crouched figure of the leopard was undeniably tensed and ready to pounce upon the smaller figure.
He just wanted to sink his teeth into her at this point. She had maybe a few seconds to react before he pounced.

Kole wasn’t interesting enough for her to try to sneak into wherever it was he slept at night. He was a nuisance. An arrogant boy that thought just because he was a big cat, he was better than her. And that just because he was willing to kill, she didn’t stand a chance. Maybe outside of Manson, that would be true, but she had the distinct feeling that they wouldn’t let her die on the grounds so she wasn’t worried. Besides, his attitude was amusing her. She merely shrugged at his words. She wasn’t overly bothered.
Sure, it hurt to get punched in the face, but she was pleased she managed to kick him off of the roof. She could hear what was going on though. It was impossible to ignore the snapping of bones so she figured kitty finally came to play. Sure, she probably should be scared, but this was exciting. She might not have his teeth, but she had her claws and she kept those sharp.
That said, the fact that the guard hadn’t intervened yet made her wonder if he was going to intervene at all. So she was balancing on the edge of the roof, ready to drop down if he pounced on her like she imagined he would. Her goal was to either make him miss, or be able to sink her claws into him as they both went over the roof.
