"Either way, it's still just you putting two and two together," Kieran pointed out. To him, deduction was still a form of guesswork. The Dullahan nodded at her next comment. "Yeah, but I doubt anyone here qualifies as most people," Kieran remarked. After all, there were plenty of immortals and others who simply healed quickly in the academy.
"That sounds like a really weird kink. I suppose I could tag along. I could use some excitement." He stretched before following her back towards the academy.

In her mind, there was a huge difference between guessing and deduction. One required carefully eliminating options before settling on a solution, the other was just like shooting blindfolded. She’d really only made one guess in all this in her mind, and that was that he was either a fae or a gifted human. From there it had been a matter of elimination. He didn’t move with quite the same grace as some shifters and it was daytime so vampire was pretty much excluded from the get-go. Of course, he could’ve been some sort of mythical creature, but he just hadn’t extruded the same level of power as some of them did with every step they took. “Oh, most people here can still lose their heads. It’s just a matter of applying the right tools for the job,” she said, shrugging slightly. Maybe that was a bit overly arrogant of her, but other than Julius, she had yet to meet someone here that was quite as durable as the dragon. Not that she was hunting the people within the grounds, she needed to get out of here, not be stuck back in the basement and locked away forever. No, Dutch was determined to get free of this place so she could try for a more peaceful life with her dragon. A life of making weapons rather than using them herself. And the occasional fight here and there when the urge struck, but she had a feeling she might just find a little peace for a change if she stayed near the forge. “Man wants to die, but he doesn’t really want to die. Something about a curse. Anyway, temporarily killing him gives him a break from it all, so he doesn’t seem to mind.” It probably didn’t hurt that she didn’t like the man much. Shifting her wings out again, Dutch kicked off from the ground and didn’t stop flapping her wings until she was at a decent height. “Look for Wolf,” she told him as she took off. She’d probably go find him now herself, she just wasn’t done flying just yet.

"True, but not everyone is squishy like the normies. Some folks can take more punishment," Kieran replied with a shrug. He had a feeling she wasn't that experienced with anything stronger than a normal human. The Dullahan, despite his gold allergy, could easily put up a fight. Kieran didn't wish to fight now, though.
Sucks to be him. Curses are generally placed on someone because they deserve it. So, it's a mercy killing." He nodded at her statement regarding their target. "I can do that," the Unseelie Fae responded before summoning his hellish horse and galloping after the flying woman.
