Bianca might not fully understand why nudity was so frowned upon in society, but she knew she didn’t actually have to wear clothes to be decent and she was happy about that part. Of course, she could never leave Manson’s grounds without putting on some proper clothing, but as long as she remained on the grounds she could get away with just wearing nature and that was all that mattered to her right now. She was in no hurry to see the town or the area outside of Manson when there was still so much to do here. Offering a flower from her person seemed like such a simple thing to do considering she could always just grow something new. The forest was a lot bigger than she had expected when she had first arrived and it excited her. She was happy to have somewhere safe from human intervention to work with for a change. “Yes, I only recently decided to settle here,” she admitted. “I found this place by word of mouth and when I learned about the fire that ravaged the forest last year, as well as my own burning down, it seemed like a good fit. And somewhere humans won’t raze the forest at least.” Bianca didn’t mind humans, at all, she just wished they’d leave the woods alone. They could build their houses vertically instead of razing all the forests. “Felt right at home though, so I imagine I’ll get around to getting to know the other staff members eventually.” She hadn’t been in a hurry past her entrance interview and tests and whatnot. It didn’t take as much out of her to mature the tree further now that it had already sprouted from the earth. It was the coaxing it to start growing in the first place that was the hardest part of all this thankfully, so she was focusing on being one with the tree and helping it grow as Karmelo touched the tree too. Of course, she’d never be one with it the way he would, she was only trying to be one with it on an emotional level while growing. Because to her it was perfectly logical for trees to feel things too. Bianca stepped away from the tree when he said it was good enough. She wanted to marvel some more at his true form, but he was back to looking human again by this point. “It was my pleasure,” she informed him when he thanked her, smiling brightly at him. “Everybody deserves a home, or a safe place to hide if they’re chased by vampires. Or just somewhere to relax.” It genuinely didn’t matter to her what Karmelo had done to end up here, she was just happy to help this place feel a little more like home for him.

seasonofthewitch* when I look out my window, many sights to see. and when I look in my window, so many different people to be. they’re strange, so strange. it’s very strange to me. you’ve got to pick up every stitch. oh no, must be the season of the witch. Karmelo listens to Bianca as she tells him that she just recently decides to stay in Manson and that she finds the place through word of mouth. She also mentions that the forest has been ravaged by fire last year. That kind of makes him a little bit sad because nature and the forests are sacred to his kind and most of the creatures that live in them. It’s like their home is destroyed and damaged. Although the creatures can recover the forest to its beauty, the damage will always have a mark in the forest and sometimes it brings out bad juju with those kinds of destructions. Karmelo knows because his kind thrives off the darkness that surrounds the forest every now and then. Dalaketnons, even if they try to be good, will always have their nature as evil. “I agree,” Karmelo replies as Bianca tells him that she wants to be in a forest where humans won’t destroy it and the Manson’s forest is definitely safe from them. “I miss the days when technology wasn’t so advanced that they destroy most of the environment.” It’s just really sad that with humans advancing somehow they are forgetting that nature gives them life as it has done for centuries. Karmelo wonders if the nature spirits and creatures will retaliate if and when humans really endanger the environment. That’ll be a sad day.
When Bianca tells him that she feels right at home, Karmelo smiles at her wistfully. “Well hopefully I will feel the same way at one point,” Karmelo tells her. He may need a bit more time to adjust to the academy to see how everything goes. Maybe he just needs to go explore the place and meet people because he may be a bit of an introvert, Karmelo still likes to meet people. Well, introvert may not be the word to describe him but just a little quiet.
The Dakit tree is just beautiful. Well, they are not really beautiful trees but to Karmelo and his kind, they are definitely wonderful for them. Karmelo looks at Bianca and walks towards her. He gives her a light hug and thanks her again. Laughing at Bianca saying that everyone deserves a home or a place to hide when being chased by vampires, he releases her from the hug and brushes his hair back and looks at the tree again. “This is definitely a place where I’ll be most of my stay in Manson,” he states. Karmelo sighs and he doesn’t know why but he kind of feels exhausted. Maybe he needs to go and rest again because he has not taken everything in after the event this morning from his marijuana farm to being here in Manson a few hours ago. Karmelo can feel a break down coming later on but at least he will be there in his creepy underground residence. It’ll be a good idea to go back now and rest and take in everything that has happened.
“So, thank you for everything Bianca. I’m glad to have made a friend already here in Manson,” he tells her. Karmelo touches her upper arm lightly as a sign of acknowledging her and a sign of being friends too. “But I really want to take a rest now because I haven’t had the time to process everything today.” He gives her a smile. “I know I’m going to see you around here again. Thank you for everything!” He gives her a blinding and genuine smile and then moves backwards and turns around to leave. So far, Manson has been good to him. He hopes this continues on because nobody wants a mad Dalaketnon in an academy. TEMPLATE BY ELIZA @ Delusional & SP

Bianca knew she would’ve had a lot more work cut out for herself if Kaia hadn’t been around or that forest fae she’d heard mentioned. There were thankfully some others around here that had already been working on rejuvenating the forest so all she had to do was finish what was already in motion and help nature along so it’d be all pretty again. “If I could remember those days, I probably would agree with you,” she said, feeling like it would be a bit strange for her to miss something she couldn’t actually remember. But the mere notion of a time when technology didn’t destroy the environment made her oddly nostalgic regardless. “I’m sure you’ll meet just the right people to make you feel at home,” she said, beaming at him. She sure would do her best to make him feel at home, which was part of the reason she had made a tree for him in the first place. Not only did she wanted him to have somewhere safe, she wanted him to have somewhere that might help him feel at ease and at home. Bianca happily hugged Karmelo back, nodding slightly at what he said when he pulled away. If she was being honest, Bianca imagined she was probably as prone to touching people without thinking about it as shifters seemed to enjoy touch, so it was nice to be the one being hugged. It made it OK to hug back without worrying about overstepping some boundary. “Take care of yourself, Karmelo, I’m looking forward to seeing you again,” she said, waving at him when he stepped backward and headed back toward her own tree when he turned to leave. This really was a great day though, so she probably would find something else amazing to do later, but for now she just wanted to be one with her own tree again for a little bit.
