Summer was one of the best times of years in her opinion, Kaia isn't really affected by the heat or the cold and considering she can literally take energy from the sunlight like any of the plants that she tends too she often finds herself with an excess of energy. Most of which she has been using to try and sort out the lake a little more, she wanted a lot of the bed of the lake and some of the shallows to be fully planted with filtration plants. Her aim was to get the water clear and clean, something that would only make her feel even better than she already does. A healthy lake makes for an extremely healthy, happy nymph. A happy nymph makes for a more powerful nymph, she'd be able to do more and more to help with the grounds and the gardens and that idea just fuels her on. Kaia wants to be as helpful as she can.
Which was why, right now, she was washing the exterior of the greenhouses. The pollen stuck to the glass wasn't easily removed with just the light rain fall that they'd had recently, so Kaia was using her ability to wash down the glass more thoroughly. Her hands swiped over the panes leaving no streaks in their wake. She was good at this, but then why shouldn't she be when the water itself was really an extension of her. This wasn't really something that's on her to-do list. She didn't have to be here, but some of the greenhouses looked a little smeared and bleary. Now most of them were sparkling and gleaming under the bright sunlight.
The red headed nymph stood back from the greenhouse she'd been working on, the water she'd been using snaked it's way around her legs and body like a living rope but she was far too busy looking at her handiwork to pay it any heed.
She wore a yellow sundress, no shoes as usual, but she didn't mind. Anything natural didn't eem to pierce her skin so she wasn't worried about splinters, the grass seemed to strengthen beneath her feet to cushion her footfalls anyway. Something she also didn't control. This naive, little gullible nymph was too busy beaming at the light reflecting off of the newly cleaned glass building, proud of her handiwork. Her pale skin seemed to be illuminated from within, a faint glow that could very much have been missed.. She lifted her hand to direct the water at the next greenhouse but paused as her gaze landed on an approaching figure. Company.
How nice.

This place was fantastic. Bianca hadn't exactly gotten herself a home or anything like that, she had found a tree in the midst of the forest where she had made a safe space to store her things amongst the roots and bonded herself to it so she would have an easier time in this place. It was always preferably to have a tree to belong to after all. It was daylight and this was a place she'd been told she could be herself, so she had stepped out of her chosen tree in the early morning, covered in vines, moss and a beautiful array of carnations. Pink, purple, red... She was colorful today, but then she was feeling colorful and full of life too, so why not? And the way it all combined and wove around around body made it look almost like she was wearing actually clothing made of nature rather than just nature itself. Bianca had decided to spend her day exploring the grounds a little before finding something to do for work. Which is how she wound up near the greenhouses watching the redhead wash down the glass without any hose. Walking over to her, Bianca was all smiles as she admired the handy work. "That's gorgeous," she said, looking to Kaia, not really meaning the glass this time. No, the way the water was snaking its way around her was beautiful. This had to be the nymph she'd heard she'd be working with. Twirling a little on the spot, both to show off her own creation, and to move her feet, Bianca was practically beaming when she came to a stop and had created a small field of wildflowers. "Wanna team up? Pretty up some dreary spot of the grounds? If such a place exists?"

She was so colourful!
Kaia watched the other woman approach with her eyes widened in awe, she wanted to look like her but she had to wear clothing. Wearing flowers had never even occurred to her before but she couldn't help bt think they were absolutely beautiful. The nymph was a little bit envious but she smiled warmly as the Dyad approached her with a compliment. Kaia had noticed how her gaze wasn't exactly on her handiwork but instead upon the water circling her body and she held her palm out to let a flower form out of water before she let that melt back into the mass that still circled her, "I can create anything if you'd like," she said happily, she'd quite willingly do such a thing, Kaia likes friends. And washing greenhouses isn't as much as showing off to new people.
Flowers just seemed to sprout up around her too as she walked, was she another nymph? A different kind perhaps, Kaia hadnt really met that many others of her species, definitely not another branch of the species either. Zack was a full blooded fae, so he didn't really count in her mind, he wasn't like her..
"That's beautiful too," she commented, meaning the flowers, both on the floor and on her body, she was intrigued and equally delighted by both and she won't even deny it. And then the Dryad went and offered to team up with her and Kaia brightened up, literally, her eyes grew a few shades lighter and her skin became luminescent, not overly so but enough to be slightly noticeable and the nymph offered out her hand.
"I'd love to! There are places in the forest that still need some looking into after that fire and I would love to turn part of the lawns into a meadow! And the banks around the lake need fortifying.." She had a long, long list of things she wanted to get done around Manson, but she was only one little elemental and there was so much to do. She had a hunch that this woman wouldn't be able to help with the bottom of the lake itself, "are you.. the new groundskeeper I heard about? Bianca? I'm Kaia, it's more than a pleasure to finally meet you."

Bianca hadn’t met another nymph during this particular lifecycle of hers, but she knew that’s what this redhead had to be. There was just something that felt so familiar about her it was hard not to be drawn to her. She was watching that water form into a beautiful flower before melting back and she couldn’t help but grin because that was amazing. It was simply magnificent. “Maybe you can teach me some day?” she suggested when she learned that the redhead could create anything. “I can’t make water, so I never really played around with it like that before. It’s amazing.” It didn’t take a whole lot to amaze Bianca, particularly when it was related to the elements and people’s control over them. She just loved watching other people interact with the natural world. “Thank you,” she said, grinning slightly as she took a slight bow at the compliment. Yes, she was definitely going to like this place and this woman. If she could just be herself and not bother with actual clothes as long as she was on the grounds, then Bianca might not want to leave the grounds ever. She didn’t know why, but a part of her had desperately longed for a place she didn’t have to wear clothes to fit in, where she could just do what she’d done today and worn nature instead. She didn’t remember that this had been all she’d worn at any given time in a previous lifecycle many many years ago. The way Kaia was glowing made her happy. She was easy to please really, and it seemed Kaia was too and it just made her feel at home. She was more than happy take the offered hand and give it a gentle squeeze. As well as just get a good feel for the good energies she was giving off. Listening to her talk about the things she wanted to do made the dryad grin slightly. “I heard about the forest fire, it’s part of the reason I’m here,” she admitted. Of course, the other reason was simply because her own forest had burned down, but she was already feeling like she was settling in here just by meeting the nymph so it didn’t seem worth lingering on. Forest fires were just natural after all, but the one here hadn’t been from what she’d heard. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Kaia, yes, I’m Bianca. Resident dryad,” she said, bringing the woman in for a hug, because she just couldn’t resist. When she pulled away again, she produced a nice little white rose in her hand and gently placed it behind Kaia’s ear. “The parts of the forest closest to my tree should start to heal itself nicely. Maybe start with creating a meadow and fortify the banks? I imagine those are things more residents would enjoy as well, not just us nature-types or the animal-people,” she suggested. Of course, getting around to the forest was important too, but a meadow and the lake just seemed like something the more human population of this place might enjoy too.

Kaia can't really teach somebody to manipulate water if it's not a talent that they don't already have, but she'd probably help boost her own natural talents with her own if she felt so inclined too. She'd done it before, she could do it again. Making people think that they've done something bigger and better than usual just to see a smile upon their faces.. Kaia doesn't mind sharing energy for things like that, in fact she'd quite happy to do so. "I'm always up for playing with what I can do," it wasn't a 'yes' answer but she was quite sure that her and Bianca could make some beautiful scenes if they just decided to have some fun, Kaia can't create a massive field of flowers like she was sure this Dryad could but she could help something that was already there grow or heal it..
This woman seemed to be able to just spout them from the ground. She could do so much good for the forest, Kaia was incredibly pleased.
So she was more than happy to recieve the hug and she hugged her back without hesitation, the water that had been snaking around just herself spread out a little more just so she didn't get this woman wet. There was something so comfortably familiar about her that it was easy to just let down what little guard she had in the first place and to relax completely. That white rose that was placed behind her ear bloomed even brighter as soon as it was placed against her skin and she smiled warmly, "it's beautiful! Thank you," she couldn't make anything in return for her, any ice based product she created would melt rather quickly in the heat of the summer, "A dryad, I've never met another nature sprite, you're more than welcome here, I've got so many things to show you."
The stream in the forest was one of the main things she'd want to show her, at the moment there's a lot of undergrowth that keeps on threatening to block the thing and Kaia finds herself trying to maintain it quite often. She'd like to help to keep the thing flowing smoothly, like fortifying the edges of the stream, or moving the rootier of plants away from the edges. Mention of a meadow too made her want to create a little one within the forest, like a secret little place for relaxation.. She had so many ideas and the nymph bounced once on the spot and clapped her hands together.
"You must have already have seen my lake, but you should show me your tree! Do you need a spring nearby? Or would you like me to redirect the stream nearby or anything water based and I'm there, I promise you," she can create fresh springs if you puts a little extra energy into it. It'll make her sleepy but a night floating on the surface on the lake with the light of the stars on her skin and she'd be just fine. Kaia made a small excited noise and bounced once more with another clap of her hands, "I'm so excited! Let's go now? Show me your home?"

It wasn’t that she couldn’t manipulate water to a degree, it was just that needing to be around an already existing source to do it hadn’t left her a whole lot of time to practice it. She’d had other things to do after all, forests to make all safe for wildlife, fields to pretty up nearby, friends to make, you name it. Coming here, she couldn’t help but wonder if maybe some of the creatures were old enough to have known her in a previous life. “Sounds like a fun day,” she said, positively beaming. Honestly, she was looking forward to working with the nymph probably more than anything else here, because she had a feeling they could make wonderful things together. Hugging people came naturally to her, but hugging Kaia just felt more natural than anyone else really. Sure, she tried not to hug strangers, simply because she knew not everyone appreciated it, but how could she not hug the nymph? She was just so inviting and familiar it was hard not to. She loved how the rose bloomed even more once it made contact with Kaia. “Anytime you need something grown, I’d be more than happy to help,” she said, grinning at her. “I honestly can’t say whether I’ve met others or not in a previous life,” she admitted. “Just know you’re the first in this life.” Not counting fae of course. But they were different. A lot of them belonged in nature, but they weren’t of nature the same way Kaia or herself were. Kaia’s excitement was contagious and Bianca probably would’ve been bouncing too if she wasn’t focused on keeping herself firmly planted on the ground. Sometimes when the excitement got the better of her, she wound up making trees in places they shouldn’t be, and keeping herself ‘rooted’ helped prevent that right now. “It’s hard not to see your lake on the way to the grounds,” she admitted. She had admired it if she was being honest with herself. It was beautiful, but she had been a little hesitant to get too close only because she’d sensed something. Of course, she hadn’t known Kaia would be so friendly and pleasant at the time, but now that she knew, she would definitely get close next time. “My tree and I are only just getting acquainted, I’ll have a better feel for what would be nice in a few more days.” Bianca couldn’t really say for sure what was needed. While bonding herself to a tree was pretty instant, it took a little while for it to do more than just be a place to strengthen herself after all. Once they reached the clearing, it would hopefully be pretty obvious to someone like Kaia that she was nearby. To Bianca, it just felt more alive than the rest of the forest, though she might just be biased. It wasn’t overgrown with underbrush, the trees were all happy and her particular tree looked almost like it had been hybridized with an apple tree. Bianca hadn’t been able to resist altering one of the branches so it grew apples. Sweet ones too. Picking one, she held it out for Kaia. “Want one?” she asked, grinning slightly. If she had it her way, the oak would turn into tree that grew more fruits, but she figured she might want to start small. And if Kaia didn't want the apple, she'd just eat it herself, it just seemed polite to offer.
