I Think You Can Save Me
Cairo had already planned out the meals for this week on his part. Mainly because he'd scheduled Wednesday through Friday as an Around The World class. He'd asked each of his students where their origin of birth was, how long they'd lived there and then decided to research the culture and meals. He wanted to give them a chance to have a taste of home as well as introduce their fellow classmates into their lives. It seemed safe enough. Maybe they'd get nostalgic, as he often did when eating a meal from home, but Cairo didn't see any harm in nostalgia. Besides, anyone who didn't want to participate had the option of either sitting in with another class for the next three days or helping with the groundskeeping during classroom hours.
Cairo wasn't too concerned with who would win or lose. He'd come up with the idea on the spur of the moment. His mind had wandered to something completely off subject when he saw his boyfriend smiling and speaking of a Bodyshop. Cairo gave an almost nervous chuckle as he began to blush. He focused on the second half the conversation to save himself from total embarrassment. He was so easily riled up. "Roger that," he said with a small salute. "Best stock up on food while we're here. Will be too preoccupied to cook afterward."
He rocked back and forth a bit, smirking as Bjørn insisted the game was rigged. "I should be discouraged from encouraging you, but yes, third time's the charm." Would it have been cheating to say he'd used his clairvoyance to see the outcome of the game? If that had been the case he wouldn't have bothered playing, seeing as though the man on the stand had let loose a small shriek of surprise before plunging into the water. Cairo rubbed the back of his head. "Meh, nicely done."

Seeing the red rise in Cairo’s cheeks caused Bjørn to lightly frown and momentarily fold his arms, he knew a lot of the time he could be blamed for causing such a reaction but he wouldn’t take blame for it this time. “Oh come on, now your mind is just being dirty.” he said but then grinned widely. Cairo might act innocent a lot of the time but Bjørn was sure he was just yet to fully dig out the teachers darker side. But anyway, stocking up on food was for sure a good idea as after this outing and with other activities planned for when they got home Bjørn really didn’t want to think about cooking or being hungry and needing to cook. The last thing he imagines Cairo wants is crumbs sticking to oil that might be massage over him.
Or himself snacking on something while Cairo is trying to give a massage. It really depended how this third shot went… Bjørn was more than a bit surprised to hear the shriek and see the man fall into the water below, pleasantly surprised though and he let out a small yell of triumph too. Going over to Cairo he gave the man a small hug and a kiss to his cheek, “Good thing too as all that throwing, need the muscles rubbed.” He didn’t really, it took far more than throwing three balls to tire this bear.
“Are you still going to try? You get him in too then I guess that either cancels the bet or we both have to give one to each other.” Bjørn said with a smile. Cairo could just play to win a prize though, speaking of which, Bjørn walked over to pick one for himself and looked over the stand of plushie toys before pointing out a fairly big pink rabbit. It wasn’t want he had aimed for but since there was no Bjørn-looking bears or Cairo-looking people he settled for what he felt was the next best thing to win.

I Think You Can Save Me
It had been his own thoughts that had caused him to blush, but Cairo wasn't going to openly admit as much aloud. Instead, he smiled at the bear. "You said it not me," he mused. It had taken a bit of adjustment, but Cairo couldn't have been happier in the presence of Bjørn, bumpy start and all. "Besides, you should see that grin on your face. Nothing clean about it," he huffed playfully.
If his lovely boyfriend had voiced his thoughts aloud about oil and crumbs, Cairo would have casually pointed out that Bjørn was a snack all on his own and a few crumbs wouldn't be bothersome if the oils were edible. Bjørn was right, Cairo was innocent, but he was still an adult that could be fun and playful at times. It just took a little trust and coercing.
Cairo hugged the other back despite having lost the bet with the other male. It was merely a game and the demands weren't outrageous. "Guess we're going to have to hit the gym more often if that's the case," he teased. He gave a small nod. "Already paid for it, might as well." Cairo waited for Bjørn to collect his prize. "Adorable." He handed the other the drinks. "Hold these please, I'll be right back with a cancelation to your victory," he said with an air of mock confidence.
He tossed the ball up and down slowly. Cairo hadn't played sports as a child, just worked out to stay in decent shape. He doubted he would be successful in hitting the target. It seemed so small and so far away, but it was worth a try. He tossed the ball and missed it. "Nope, not easy at all," he mused to himself.

Bjørn wouldn’t be against more gym visits with Cairo even if he did not really need them as working out was a big hobby of his, gym, swim, just going for a run, it was all fun in his mind, although he still would love to head out into the woods with the man, bring on a shift and have some bear time with even if his boyfriend wasn’t able to do the same. It was just a huge part of his life and he wanted to share in it with Cairo and he wasn’t too sure why he was putting it off so much, the sooner Cairo got used to it the better, surely.
With pink rabbit in hand Bjørn grinned and tried to come up with a name for the animal but then looked back to Cairo and took the drinks off him so he could have a turn at dunking the man in the booth. If it wasn’t a warm day the bear might have felt a little guilty. Sticking his tongue out briefly at his boyfriends confidence Bjørn then looked around and placed the items on a table as Cairo gave a throw and missed the target on the first try.
“What was that about cancelling?” he asked with a grin and stepped up behind him, pausing a second before placing his hands on Cairo’s shoulders and gently massaging them in a circle. The aim was to help him relax torso he would claim, Bjørn kind of knew he was probably hindering more than anything. “Just relax, aim carefully, picture hitting the target and then throw.” he explained knowingly, having decided he was suddenly an expert, though the smile showed he was mostly joking around.
Moving his hands away Bjørn went to the table where he put the drinks and the rabbit and sat down again, taking a sip of his drink while looking over Cairo.

I Think You Can Save Me
Cairo had put a lot of hours into researching the anatomy and physiology of weres and shifters. He'd originally started the process because he'd spent so much time with Kiba that once the idea of adoption had popped into his mind, he knew he'd have to understand more than what was on the surface. Their metabolism were much higher than plain old humans. Gyms were unnecessary, but Cairo was glad Bjørn indulged him. Ironically, he wouldn't have put as much effort into learning if Kiba had never been in the picture. Cairo may have accepted the fact that his boyfriend was a were, but he was sort of tetter tottering around it all. Somewhere deep within his conscious he figured that if they never talked about it, then he wouldn't have to really face the bear. So maybe he hadn't accepted it per se, but more or less acknowledged that there was more to Bjørn than being an Administrative Assistant.
The teacher had the modesty to look a bit sheepish as he was teased. "One out of three. This isn't the end," he responded with an air of haughty authority. Cairo got another ball and looked at the target, trying to mentally calculate where he'd gone wrong when he felt hands on his shoulders. He tensed momentarily before he relaxed under Bjørn's touch, a faint blush upon his cheeks. "Are you warming up for when we get back home," he asked with a raised brow. "How sweet." He looked over his shoulder at the other. "I think I'm going to enjoy this without a doubt." It was either squirm under the werebear or have a witty comeback to keep his head level. He'd surprisingly managed the latter. Brownie points for him. As Bjørn retreated, Cairo placed his focus on the subject at hand. Hit the target. Just gotta hit the target.
He threw the second ball, watching it smack just to the left of the target. He turned to Bjørn. "Not a word," he told him, but he couldn't keep from snickering a bit. "Third time's the charm, right?" He gave a small shrug and turned back to the target. "If I don't get this, we're going to the dart stands. Much easier," he mumbled to himself with a privately reassuring nod.
Note: Heads or tails?

Bjørn really didn’t care who won this game, if he would be giving or getting a massage when they returned or he might have put more effort into distracting Cario or made sure to miss the target when it had been his turn. But it didn’t stop him from having a bit of fun at his boyfriend’s expense, for all the bear knew maybe the shoulder rub was helping rather than distracting. He chuckled at the warming up comment in response and nodded his head a little. “Just a little.” before leaving the man alone. Bjørn liked it when Cairo was confident, sure he might tease the man but it was only in fun and to bring out that cockier side he knew lingered below an otherwise somewhat shy and unassuming personality.
Seeing the second ball fly and miss, Bjørn saw Cairo look back to him and gestured his mouth being zipped, not that he had planned to comment and he still grinned a little. Third time might be the charm for both of them. “Is it?” Bjørn asked hearing the dart stand would be easier, thinking throwing small darts would be much harder but maybe Cairo had a hidden talent? “Might leave that game to you.” he said with a chuckle.
Picking up his drink Bjørn sipped some of it down and watched with a faint smile for what the third ball would do.

I Think You Can Save Me
The brief shoulder rub had been distracting yet nice. Cairo wasn't going to complain. It did kind of make him want to win this, but either way, things were going well. It was fun getting out of the house and living the high life for a while. He always had fun with Bjørn. The werebear was good for him. Breakfast dates, lunch dates, dinners, nights out on the town. He couldn't remember a time between Slade's death and Bjørn's appearance in his life where he'd had this much fun. Life really was good. He hardly thought about all the ups and downs that had occurred in-between, things like the incident with Ice, the trouble he'd had with Kiba, the Instigator and his troublesome abilities. Those were just bumps in the road and he'd gotten over them.
He chuckled lightly as the other 'zipped' his lips. He then glanced over his shoulder as the younger male spoke. "Hmm? It is. Darts versus ballons. I'm sure that will be far more precise than throwing this ball." He gave a small huff and then focused back on his target. "Trust me, I might suck at this, but darts is a specialty." It was not, but who said he couldn't bluff a bit. He through the ball again, once more missing the target. Cairo shook his head lightly. "Oh well, you win." He turned on his heel to face his boyfriend, giving a small shrug. "Guess you'll be getting that massage after all." He moved over to the bear and planted a brief kiss upon his cheek.
"Although you did utter that cheeky little remark," he whispered. "And I'm in charge, so I could just change the rules." He moved away, his eyes bright with amusement. "How's it feel to be the victor, for now?"
