Gilgamesh was anxiously counting down the days until The Guardian's return. He didn't like his new guard, even if it was just a temporary arrangement. Six more days. Six more days and then everything would be back to normal. Six more days and he could ask the tall man with his quiet demeanor what all he'd done and if he'd brought gifts back. "He said he would," Gilgamesh mumbled to himself. "He said he'd bring us something nice. Maybe a new kind of food." He fumbled around with the box in his hand, pulling knobs, pushing buttons, winding handles. The Guardian had given it to him before he'd left to go on vacation. He said it was Pandora's Box and if Gilgamesh could open it he'd get a reward. It was enough to keep the Bajang busy. A nice little distraction from things not being routine anymore. He didn't know that his counselor and his guard had decided it would be good to keep him engaged until the man returned. It was working though.
"Gotta get it open. Gotta win the prize." Gil glanced over his shoulder at the only other person in the room which happened to be his guard. "I don't like him." A small pause. "We don't like him," he corrected. "Go away. We want to be alone," he muttered. The red eyed male stuck his tongue out before he turned away, shaking his head furiously. "Take a break," he told himself. He had to behave in order to get anything when The Guardian came back.
He placed the box down, frowning a bit. There had to be a way to open it. He inched forward, giggling quietly as the soft carpet tickled his belly. He rolled around for a minute or so before getting up to turn off the lights. He liked the soft colors when the main lights were off. He liked the quiet room a lot. So many colors. Gilgamesh was not a fan of being alone, but this was one of the few places he enjoyed. He picked up the box and fell back onto a beanbag, a squeal of pure delight escaping him before he settled into his new found seat, hugging the box and grinning to himself. "Break time," he whispered.
