Sage didn't class himself as one of those humans who can 'be a bit blind to things' as he wandered over to the flowerbed, he's usually under the impression that he at least kind of knows what's going on around him. Kind of. Ade is usually the one to point out the obvious to him, things that are usually obvious to most people but he never really sees until somebody points it out to him. So he just glanced back at Zack with a little smile and made an affirmative noise, "and they're usually quite gullible," it was how he'd made himself some money while he was a kid. Without that cash he probably would have ended up on the streets.. Or in social services care. Which probably would have been better for him in the end actually, but he'd feared them thanks to the horror stories his mother had told him.
The ectomancer didn't think that Zack was a mass murderer, so really perhaps he just had anger issues? There were no lingering angry spirits hanging around Zack anyway, no connections to the dead other than that thick strand that signalled the sister he'd obviously cared about. Nobody capable of caring about their family can be all that bad, right?
Sage had been about to say something about the flowers when he was suddenly jolted forward and his face collided with the damp soil. Thankfully it wasn't hard packed, but that only meant that the dirt went up his nose and passed his lips. It did not taste nice and instinctively he planted his hands on the ground and tried to push himself back up again. He hadn't taken a breath before he'd been shoved down like this so panic struck him quickly. But that only mean that the words the fae spouted only hit home a little bit.
But he got the message. Don't contact the orange eyed sister. His fingers dug themselves into the dirt and he managed to push up only because Zack's hands had moved to curl around his neck instead, all he could think about was the blade, where was that blade? This kid isn't a fighter. Hell, he can't even throw a straight punch even if he was sober so it wasn't surprising that instead of reacting cleverly he reached back to try and yank the fae's hair because what the hell else could he really do in this situation other than make a choking little 'nghark' sound?
Thanks to reaching back to pull his hair he ended up with the side of his face pressed into the dirt again, "meshage resheeved.." He managed to get out, he just wanted to be let go because what the hell was going on? Sage wasn't aware of anything he'd done being wrong, other than the flowers but he'd apologised for that, "but I can't.. not.. grck." If she showed up of her own accord he couldn't just ignore her.
Then a voice rang out, unheard by Zack most likely but it caused a wave of relief to wash over Sage.
"What the actual fuck, Sage? I can't leave you alone for more than five minutes."
The Ectomancer couldn't respond, he just reached his hand out for the ghost, ready and open to let him possess him and let the dead fae get this crazy bastard off of his back. Or so he hoped, for now, Ade was just staring at the darker haired fae with a perplexed expression. He'd do it in his own time, lazy bastard, Sage wasn't exactly going anywhere.

If he could Zack would have killed Sage here and now and used the flower bed as his shallow grave, but the Fae was still keep to his own warped rules and he knew the guard would intervene well before he could do anything fatal, so he instead focused on getting his message across, that his dead sister was off limits from whatever ghostly shenanigans Sage’s gift allowed for.
If he lost hair in this, Zack did not care, he was a bit oblivious to pain at the best of times and right now anger and pure hate clouded his brain from feeling any grip Sage had on him. Hair could grow back but he foresaw only one chance to really make Sage understand what he did was wrong. But did he understand? The drunk choked out something that sounded like he did but also something that seemed like almost an excuse…
“No can’t, just do!” Zack replied forcing his face down harder.
In the background he could hear his guard approaching and giving a message over the radio to prepare to receive a very triggered Zack and to get a nurse for Sage. The fae thought it a bit unneeded, he didn’t plan to continue this attitude once inside.
Something like an order to let Sage go was also spoken and Zack just glanced a taser being aimed at him but the command wasn’t sinking in and instead Zack just reached for his blade again with the plan to give Sage a permanent reminder of this encounter, namely slicing off part of his ear since it was the easiest thing to reach right now.
ooc: feel free to NPC the guard too

Even when being attacked Sage wasn't quite capable of putting forth enough energy to harm somebody too badly, so Zack would be losing no hair in this escapade, perhaps a few strands but nothing as extreme as a clump or two. The ectomancer grunted in pain when he pressed a little further into the dirt, the taste of fresh compost hit his tongue so he pursed his lips together, eyes closing to prevent them from being muddied up too. If he could breathe properly right now then he'd most likely be hyperventilating, he was afraid. Scared. Terrified. Whatever word you use it was the same thing, he wanted to run away from this guy and hide someplace. Like he usually does, the cowards approach to being safe.
But it usually worked. Either that or drown himself in vodka in the dark and hope the bad guys don't get him.
Just do though. He can't just ignore her if she turns up, he won't do that, but he made a muffled sound that could be classed as consent. A sound that was followed by an 'oh no you don't' of Ade's voice as the guy suddenly lunged in to grab hold of Sage's hand. The ectomancer had done his best to try to explain what it felt like for a spirit to take over his body before, but he never could describe it. He was still there, of course he was, there was no destroying his soul, but it was like he'd taken a back seat in his own mind. Seeing, feeling, hearing everything around him but having no control whatsoever. Adrian was the only ghost he'd ever let in like this, the only one he trusts.
A sharp pain erupted in the side of his head but instead of cringing away or tensing up his body relaxed against the cool dirt beneath him and a smile curved to his lips, "bad move, unseelie." Sage wasn't too aware of what was going on around him, he could establish control over Ade but he wouldn't know where to begin on using the fae's abilities. So he just shut himself up and let Adrian take complete control. He could feel the outrage and excitement of the fae spirit residing inside of him and that warm and indescribable rush of feeling washed through him moments before roots erupted from the ground inches away from his face aiming to wrap themselves around Zack's wrist and force the fae back and off of Sage before the currents that were about to hit the violent psycho ran not only through him but into the ectomancer.
And the guard was aiming and firing off that taser now, the sight of the blade or the blood on Sage's head enough to make the man pull the trigger to set off the voltage. Though whether Zack had released Sage or not had yet to be determined. Ade had tried his best. Without impaling the other Fae that is.
The drunk hoped he wasn't still being touched. He had a horrible feeling that if he ended up getting shocked too he'd either pass out, piss himself, or both. Probably both.

Zack wasn’t a murderer but if he became one and joined the the ranks of killers here, he wouldn’t be ashamed to say Sage was his victim and why. It was all perfectly justifiable in his view, this guy was harassing his dead twin, that called for some pretty strong reaction on his part if he was any kind of decent brother.
It was unlikely Zack would have achieved that aim with the guard here but that didn’t mean he would not try, the last thing he would want is to just sit and do nothing, attempting at least showed willingness to right a wrong. Also, it seemed Sage was suddenly fighting back,
It took Zack by surprise, more so the plants that suddenly shot up around them. Sage shouldn’t be able to do that, he wasn’t a Fae, unless he had some earth gift too? Completely unaware of the ghost that had taken over, it wouldn’t even be Zack’s tenth guess to what was going on right now. If anything he just wondered why nature had taken against him and not the stupid ghosty boy currently polluting the soil with his face and blood.
Cursing quite loudly, Zack tried to fight against being thrown back, tried to force the roots back into the ground because it really wasn’t good for them to grow so fast so quickly but in his state he was never going to be able to do that, it wasn’t he brand of magic anyway and so he was forced back with a thud, painful enough though not enough to knock Zack out. He was a robust thing and adrenalin was pumping through him fairly strongly and he still tried to reach out to at least grab Sage’s foot.
But he was no match for a high powered taser and the suddenly voltage had him screaming murder even if he couldn’t commit it before collapsing on the floor.

It turns out that electricity is one of those things that can eject a spirit from a body, because as soon as Zack's hand gripped tightly around his ankle and that voltage surged through his own body Ade was flung from him comically and Sage let out a continuous whimper through clenched teeth. The taste of dirt on his tongue and the pain were only momentary though because the stress of all of this paired with his body being somewhat weak and unused to such things meant he gave in when unconsciousness took over him. The sound of Zack's scream resonating in the background of his mind.
He wasn't out for long, perhaps a few seconds and when he came too he kicked out his legs and crawled off a few feet into the flowerbed, probably crushing a few stems in the process but that wasn't on his mind. He collapsed onto his butt to stare back at the fae on the floor, one of his hands clasped to the side of his head, probing with dirty fingers to check to see what had happened to his ear. He stopped at the stinging sensation and hastily wiped his hands on his jeans.
Unseelie. Ade had said it, "dark fae.. I can believe that." He'd heard stories about the unseelie, they weren't that much different from their nicer seelie counterparts but they were considered darker, not necessarily evil but, well, basically like Zack. "No wonder your sister didn't make it.. she looked kind." He didn't have to say that, but he's a bit of an ass when he's in pain and he still wasn't sure if he was missing part of an ear, it hurt to much to really see.
Another guard turned up round the corner but he slowed at the sight before him. After a brief conversation between the two one took control of the downed fae and Sage was helped to his feet and led in the direction of the medical center's entrance. The more distance away from him the better..
