Vaith had not long since woken up, not that he exactly needed sleep, given the right cocktail of blood and drugs and he could keep going for weeks, but that was not good for anyones sanity much less a person who had a tentative grasp over it in the first instance. So he had gone to bed to rest his mind and his body, and yes because he had been slightly bored and had little else to do. But now he was awake and it was late enough (around 10pm) and dark out enough that Vaith could venture from his basement level bedroom to the upper floors and be sociable should he wish with the other nocturnals or insomniacs , and that was what he planned to do later, but first a phone call was in order... Leaving his room, Vaith made his way upstairs and outside only to stand with back leaning against the dorm building wall so he could get a signal.
Vaith wouldn't pretend to know a whole bunch of people, he had those he was close to and those he kept around due to (in the nicest possible way) their usefulness to him and this call was to one such person. But didn't that just suck sometimes? Now Vaith would claim to not be reliant on anyone but it simply wasn't true, he was too reliant for his liking on the guy on the other end of the phone call, which might explain his angered tone.
Luckily, despite the conversation clearly being an unfriendly one, nobody would understand it (though possibly his Childe would feel it with their connection) as Vaith was speaking in his native language. While he knew there were others around here that spoke it, as far as he knew, none did that lived in the main dorm building, so he was content to calmly swear, threaten and generally speak unpleasantly as much as he wished.

The sun set at ten past nine. Ez knew because he was stood in the common room of the dorm rooms and kept testing the light by sticking his hand out the window and pulling it back in again. He was bored. Bored and wanted to go outside. Restless was a good word for how he felt, ever since he'd lost the ability to transfigure things he'd had to assume responsibility over the drugs that he had left. Apparently he can't function well with responsibility because the Jinn just keeps on stressing over knowing he'll have to find a decent dealer sometime soon, or that he'll run out before he can do so. Life was easier when he still had Rob in his head and the golden band around his wrist. For now though, he was struggling with knowing that he can't just do whatever he wants whenever he wants too now, he's got to think about things. Thinking too much makes his head hurt.
So he wanted fresh air, and as soon as his hand didn't sting when he shoved it out the window he jumped on out and took in a deep breath of fresh air. Before promptly disappearing from the spot he was stood on and drifting mindlessly on the slight, cool breeze.
It wasn't until a little later that he realised he was starting to feel the echoes of annoyance. Or was it anger? He couldn't be too sure but it made him rematerialise on the lawns to run a hand through his hair in confusion. Which was when he heard the famiiar voice of his sire.. The words were familiar though. This was the first time Ez realised that Vaith could speak another language, which did make sense he guessed, the guy was a lot older. There was probably a lot of things that he didn't know about the vampire who'd made him.
He sounded a bit pissed off though.. Why?
Could Ez leave this alone? Nope.
"I'm glad that wasn't me on the other side of the phone," he chimed with a lopsided smile on his lips, was he interrupting something? He kinda hoped so, maybe Vaith might trust him enough to vent.. He'd kind of like that. Not the whole 'angry sire' part, but the feeling trusted part, "I didn't know you were multilingual.." Didn't know he was Finnish either actually..
"Who's pissed you off? Want me to spike them?"

The angered conversation continued for at least twenty minutes and probably would have gone on much longer if it was not for Vaith sensing someone approaching. Had it not been for their connection, Vaith might have reacted more to his childe sudden appearance but since he sensed the baby-vamp coming, he continued talking right up until Ez materialised, at which point he ended the call and refocused on the jinn.
It didn’t matter to Vaith that more than likely the other guy wouldn’t have followed a word he had spoken, he could be a private man at times (just ignore the naked swimming and lack of underwear when wearing a robe), so he didn’t want everyone knowing all his business even if he was seemingly ok with everyone seeing all his business.
Vaith slid his phone away and then nodded in agreement, “I am too.” he replied with a non too comforting smile. If Ez ever got him to the the level of anger he felt talking to the other on the phone… It was best not to think about that really, Vaith didn’t think he could restrain himself from doing something he would regret, indeed he would have even less reason to restrain himself than he did talking to this mystery other person. Also if he was pissed off with Ez then the conversation would not have happened over the phone.
Frowning lightly Vaith sometimes wondered how Ez lived to nineteen with how unobservant he seemed… His accent, his name, none of that gave a clue to the guy? “You never asked and I suppose the subject has never come up in conversation to share.”
But he was not wanting to go into details about himself now, Vaith really just needed something to smoke, for that at least he knew he could rely on Ez. “I rather not talk about it. I need something calming.” he asked plainly while holding his hand out towards the Jinn. “Can’t really spike my own sire, anyway. Not unwillingly.” Vaith felt that would cross some kind of line.

There had only been the one time that Ezra had ever been afraid of his sire.. And that had been when he'd woken up from that coma and Ez had expected him to drain him dry. He had no idea if that would kill him or not, but it had sure as hell terrified him that time. It probably helped that right now Vaith wasn't angry with him, so really he had no reason to think that he'd have that bad mood directed at him. As long as he didn't push the boundaries too much. He just smiled back at him slightly sheepishly and wandered a little bit closer to his sire, his curiosity piqued.
The baby vamp had grown up in a human environment, as soon as he'd left that life and turned to the supernatural world that his parents had tried to keep him from his life had become difficult. It was easier now, but no, he had never been very observent. As for the accent, that was just Vaith, he'd never questioned the older vampire at all.
"I never asked," he admitted with a shrug of one shoulder, "but for the record, you sound pretty hot getting all riled up like that." Though he had absolutely no idea what he was saying. Or what language it was, or who he was getting pissed with, it had to be said. It wouldn't really be him if he didn't say it now, would it?
Ex cocked a brow cheekily, his growing grin making it quite obvious where his mind went (into the gutter) at the mention of calming but he knew what the guy meant. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small case, upon flicking it open he pulled out a joint and moved forward to slide it into his hand. There was no longer the gold band around his wrist, he was getting used to it not being there, but would Vaith notice? It wasn't that big of a deal, "I've gotcha covered," he chimed, he opened his mouth to say something else but then Vaith revealed who he was chatting too and the Jinn's curiosity piqued.
"Your sire? As in the vampire who made you?" And.. Here comes the questioning, "how old is he? Or she? I guess they're not in this country anyways if you're speaking a different language to them.. Do they know about me? Is that something you're supposed to tell your own sire? Making more little vamps I mean, like.. I guess they're kind of like a grandvampy then?" Is that a thing? That should be a thing. Ez chewed on his lower lip, something that was just fine to do considering his fangs were tucked away. No fresh blood around means no fangs.. He can't help himself when there is stuff nearby. The Jinn had started to float a couple of centimeters above the floor, he's far too absorbed with excitement to worry about gravity right now.
"... Why were you yelling at your sire anyways? Doesn't that mean major bad juju?"

If it wasn’t for the fact he want something off Ez, Vaith would have giving him a loving smack to the back of his head for that ‘hot’ comment. Sure, he did not expect anything else from Ez but this sire was not quite in the mood to take the kids sense of humour with a good natured smile. But he knew enough that if he wanted something relaxing to smoke from his little magic baby-vamp, it was probably not a great idea to hit him and damage what brain cells the guy possessed, however deserving it might be right now. Besides, sometimes an unamused glare could have a similar effect and that was what Vaith gave the Jinn.
If that was what stopped any more jokes coming, who knows, though the grin on Ez’s face told Vaith where his mind went with the calming request and a hard slap might have followed if those thoughts became verbal. Vaith was really on edge, Ez might not be the reason for the mood but he could easily become a vent for it. Thankfully for them both just a joint was produced and Vaith took little time in lighting it and taking a slow drag, and no, he didn’t notice the absence of a gold ring so Ez was not the only one who could be unobservant. Vaith would of course blame his mood and being distracted should he get informed later about Ez’s free status. “Hmm.” Was all Vaith could say in reply to being told Ez had him covered, it was as close to a thank you as the guy would get for now. Sad thing was though, this kind of thing was having less and less of an effect for him, it was just habit now. All the addiction and none of the fun.
But Vaith did know Ez would be there when he needed him, and maybe he knew Ez wouldn’t be able to resist asking questions with that little bit of sire info. Maybe Vaith didn’t really want him to resist, maybe he did want to talk about it all but just didn’t want to admit to that and with Ez being his trademark self, he could claim he was badgered into replying just to get some quiet.
“Yes, the vampire who made me.” Vaith said with a small eyeroll and then took another drag, focusing on the joint for now while Ez blurted out all his questions, it seemed better to just let him and then answer one by one, though the ‘grandvampy’ comment got Vaith to cast a puzzled look to the Jinn. Trust Ez to come up with that idea.
When silence came, Vaith waited a second or two more, smoked a little more while he made sure that was the end of the questions for now before replying.
“I have no idea how old he is. He stopped counting after he got in the four digit range. No, he is not in this country.” That wasn’t to say he was in Finland either, the man traveled, spoke multiple languages both new and old, Vaith wasn’t sure the guy even had any nationality as such, languages were just something you apparently do when you get ancient and speaking the same one as that you sire was just common sense. “He knows I sired you. I did mention it once, and yes generally you are meant to tell your sire if it happens. But generally that is only so he can kill the abomination you created without permission.” Take another drag, Vaith shrugged. “I had permission so, no worries.” Vaith lead a whole coven where he could bite who he wished, that privilege didn’t stop just as he left the Mansion. “And I wouldn’t call him grandvampy.” Not if Ez didn’t want a smack powerful enough to cave his skull in.
“And I was yelling as I was annoyed with him. You never get annoyed with parental figures?” Vaith asked, it was more a rhetorical question than he wanted to know. “But no, he sort signed me off… our sire bond is there tentatively but the compulsion to do as he says is not.”

Ez just grinned at the unamused glare that he got given, but he wasn't smacked around the head and so in his mind he'd got away with that comment. Besides, he was pretty damn certain that Vaith knew he was hot so it wasn't as if the baby vamp could exactly be blamed for stating the obvious when the obvious was just standing in front of his face like a great big blonde adonis. And for some reason this guy likes it when people are angry, it makes things thrilling.. Also, it's even better when the anger is directed at somebody else. When he'd first felt Vaith's anger, well, he thought it was because the guy had figured out that he'd lifted a couple of pills from his stash. Thankfully, he seemed oblivious. Go figure.
His own sire though.. He couldn't imagine talking to Vaith like that. But then he'd been around a while. Ez kinda hoped his relationship never turned sour with the blonde. That'd suck.. He just had to stay useful, then there'd never be a reason for Vaith to get shitty with him for long. Good plan.
The Jinn hadn't expected a thank you for the joint, it was kind of expected of him to provide this type of thing now and he honestly didn't mind in the slightest, the 'hm' was enough to make his lopsided smile stay in place and he took that moment to cross his legs in the air, floating simply because it was comfortable and he gets quite bored with standing. At least he hadn't been shut down as soon as he'd started asking questions, so either Vaith wasn't really that honest about not wanting to talk about it or the joint was beginning to do it's job. After feeling an echo of what he felt he was going to assume it was the latter.
The vampire who made Vaith was over a thousand years old.. That was insane. Ez wasn't immortal before he he was turned, he'd have been long lived, around two hundred years or so, but he would have aged slowly. To be over one thousand years old and still look the same, that's just crazy to him. He had so many questions, his curiosity burning a hole through him.
"I won't call him grandvampy," he grinned and chuckled, "I'm guessing he has no sense of humour with stuff like that? But, does that mean I'll meet him someday?" Thank the lord Vaith had permission to turn people, he'd literally be petrified if he thought there was somebody coming to kill him for not having died in the first place.. "I don't think I've met anybody that old, I mean, does he look it? Is he attractive? I guess he must be, can't see vampires making ugly vampires. I mean, look at us." He's not that modest, not really. Also prone to going off into random tangents.
He turned his gaze back to Vaith and frowned a little, "I used too.. But, my parents disowned me, you're kind of all I have now and you don't annoy me. Apart from that fang ban thing, but, you were right with that in the end so," he shrugged his shoulders and smiled a little hesitantly, "how does somebody go about signing off their childe? I mean, that ain't gonna happen here, right? 'Cause I don't wanna go nowhere."
The kid needs reassurance. Ez is a loyal guy, but more insecure than he'll ever admit too. So yeah, reassurance would definitely be nice.

Vaith could feel Ez’s surprise at his sires age… Some other time Vaith thought he might go into explaining his own past life a little more and his time in the never-ageing Mansion that his sire once led but he did not have the energy or desire to right now and so just nodded, thinking it really more imported (despite how unlikely it was the two would ever meet) that Ez know never to call the man grandvampy. Vaith could find the Jinn’s humour grating at times, and ‘grandvampy’ it wouldn’t be tolerated at all. “He has a sense of humour. Just not your sense of humour.” Vaith explained as he continued to smoke. Or he didn’t think the guy would unless things had changed between back then and now. “I doubt it, he hasn’t expressed any desire to get to know you or anyone else I have turned.” he added with a small shrug, it was the blessing of being ‘let go’ in vampire terms, his achievements and screw ups were all his own.
As the joint calmed Vaith he could reply to the other things Ez asked a bit more reasonably, the impulse to smack him faded as soon as it came on for asking what he saw to be a bit of a stupid question and Vaith almost asked the guy if he found his ‘father’ attractive but he already knew the reply to that… and human terms couldn’t really be used in a sire relationship, so maybe it wasn’t quite as dumb thing to ask as it sounded. “No, he doesn’t look over a thousand.” Vaith said a bit sarcastically, “I am sure some would see him that way, yeah.” Vaith did not personally.
Vaith wouldn’t go as far to say he hated his own sire, the man was the only reason he was here right now talking to Ez and not a pile of dust and decaying bones in some overgrown graveyard, never to be visited. So much had happened between his turning and this point that Vaith found it hard to fathom life any other way, so much heartache and pain but moments of blissful glory too. He couldn’t say he would trade it or if offered to have lived a normal life he would need to give rejecting the chance too much thought. So no, he can’t hate his sire but he could dislike the man and give him an angry rant from time to time built out of his own frustration that he still sort of needed the guy. It wasn’t something Vaith fully expected Ez to comprehend yet, maybe in time once they had built a longer sire/childe relationship he would or things got to the point he could ‘disown’ the Jinn or at least not have to worry he would do something dumb with what were still milk-fangs.
Vaith just listened quietly as Ez spoke a little about his own parents, it really wasn’t the same thing but he knew better than to point that out right now, just glad really that Ez knew what he had done so far was in the kids best interests.
“You just release them. Direct order, but to leave and do as they wish.” It wasn’t a physical thing but more mental from what Vaith could remember. Where was before he felt compelled to do as asked if his sire wished it, after that compulsion was gone even if he still felt his sire as a vague presence in his mind. Giving Ez a smile he moved to wrap an arm around the floating Jinn. “Not for a long time yet.” he said and ruffled the guys hair. “Probably though at some point you will want to be free of me.”

"Mhm," said the Jinn sagely. Basically, grandvampy had no sense of humour then. Ez finds himself rather amusing, if somebody doesn't find him at least a little endearing then they have some kind of dysfunction in their humour gland. Also, it was a little disheartening to know that the guy had no interest in meeting his own childe's vampires.. Would Vaith grow that disinterested in him in the future? Nah, he had his magic and stuff, he hopes that he'd never really be put to one side. Now at least, the babyvamp is far too hung up on the older male to be happy about being abandoned, "oh well, his loss," he piped up happily, "kept the Jinn thing all hush hush I take it, 'cause.. Well everybody wishes for something, right?"
Apart from Vaith it seemed. That still bothers Ez sometimes.
Vaith's sarcasm just made him grin again and he figured he'd asked a bit too much of a weird question for him. It wasn't like Ez saw the Sire relationship as some kind of father/child thing, not at all in fact, but.. Vaith would have been aware of that way before he'd even given the Jinn a drop of his blood. And there'd been that one night. Ez snickered a little and resisted the urge to ask for a photograph of the man, if such a thing even existed of the older than old vampire. "For the record, if anybody asks, I'll tell them that my Sire's hot, I've got your back," there was a cheeky little grin on his lips.
Ezra wouldn't understand such a long relationship at all.. He's not even existed ten percent of the time that Vaith's even been alive for so what would he really know? The baby vamp is like most teens though, he thinks he can comprehend at least a little bit though and he personally thinks that if he turns anybody into a vampire himself at any point in the future he'll do so because he likes them enough to keep them around. But then, with that logic he would have let himself die... Hm, he looked sideways at Vaith suddenly, it was no wonder he was a little bit self conscious around his sire sometimes, he was an accidental vampire, made so the guy wouldn't get into trouble for killing off an addict. That's possibly one of the many reasons he tries to make himself be as useful as possible. So far so good.
That simply one armed embrace made him feel better almost instantly about it all though, he really was just that easy to please. Even the ruffling of his hair just made him grin sheepishly, "well, I don't want that," he admitted honestly, "you're not 'sposed to give up on family," he added in a little mumble, "and you're family, right? Kind of. I mean, not in the whole human sense of the term because, well, because," he knows, "so, if you ever release me, it'll be because you've tired of me." And he's quite certain about that. He pulled a smaller joint from his back pocket and sparked it up with a little lighter, it didnt seem Vaith was sharing and he wasn't going to ask.
"We're a stubborn, annoyingly loyal lot, us Jinn.. If you treat us nice." And considering how he'd been treated before it wasn't difficult to be nice to him. He didn't want to be pathetic, but he'd beg the guy to keep him around if it ever came to Vaith tiring of him.
"What you mad at him about? Your sire, I mean? Was he being a pompous ass?" In his experience since being in Manson a lot of the old guys were quite stuck up..

Vaith gave Ez a smile and nodded, “His loss.” he repeated in agreement. Yes it was better overall to keep the baby-vampires original species on a need-to-know basis generally but more so from the type of vampire who would no doubt take advantage of such a power. Vaith was under no illusions that for all the ‘nice’ acts his sire gave out, the man was still a cold blooded killer and probably going just a bit senile as the centuries past, so not the sort of person he would want his Childe tied with. There was also the fact that his sire had met others Vaith had bitten, quite a few of them in fact but Vaith didn’t have the heart to inform Ez that he was just a number out of many, the first Jinn but that was about as special as he got, there was seemingly no reason to meet him.
Vaith didn’t try too hard to hide the grin on his lips hearing Ez say he would tell anyone that asks that his sire is hot, actually finding that kind of flattering so long as that was as far as the compliments went. As much as he was sure the Jinn plays back in his head their one night together like it was recorded on tape, he rather not have the info spread around to all, that the Jinn has at least a tiny bit of decency, maybe.
If not well… in this mood Vaith could just about laugh the whole thing off, certainly it would not be enough to make him want to be rid of the sometimes infuriating and annoying little vampire. Listening to the guys little speech about family was endearing to Vaith right now and he just smiled while puffing away on the treat the kid provided. “Difference between letting go and giving up on.” Vaith said sounding philosophical for a moment. “Being released ain’t all a bad thing. Don’t want to be up to shit and have daddy always know about it.” he added with a shrug, quite quickly losing that tone. “Just like moving out of home really.” Although feelings might not be fully mutual Vaith didn’t want Ez thinking he did not care at all for him or if he did let the guy go it was purely due to being tired of him.
But no, Vaith wasn’t going to be sharing his joint and was in fact rapidly burning through it, calming his mood to a point now he got the sire business off his chest he did not want to go back onto it, but it seemed Ez was not finished with the questions… in which case Ez might be force into sharing his own smoke.
“Everything and nothing.” Vaith replied unhelpful. “I moved out the house but grandvampy still calls like he can run my life.” So maybe the name would be used, only behind the ancient vamps back.

Ez is forever pleased that Vaith wasn't some maniacal vampire who was out for world domination or some crap. He's not quite sure what he'd do if the blond turned around and decided he wanted to take over Manson.. He'd probably go along with it because he's Vaith, but, well he'd be watching out for him. Mostly because he'll be thinking he's going totally bananays.. The baby vamp was obviously pretty pleased that Vaith agreed that his sire was missing out by not meeting him. He is pretty awesome. And not at all under the impression that he was one of the only vampires that the other guy had sired either. Ez had absolutely no desire in asking just how many other vampires were out there thanks to Vaith though. He kind of prefers to keep feeling somewhat special for at least a little bit longer.. At least he's pretty sure he's the only childe in Manson, that's something?
He felt a surge of proud happiness for making Vaith grin like that, and all it would take is one simple truth. He would never dream of telling anybody else about that night, unless it was to do with the trip to Carpe of course. Ezra does, despite his often flirty ways, know where he stands with Vaith and he's moved himself on. That doesn't lessen his attraction towards the blonde but Ez is definitely hung up on another guy now. But still, truths must be told. Vaith is hot.
Like moving out of home. Ez had never moved out of home, he'd been disowned and forced from it. So, that wasn't a very nice analogy for him. But he guesses he understands to some extent what he's going on about.. Letting him go would be a lot less bad than Vaith giving up on him. It'd depend wholly on how the rest of his life's going when it happens. "Would you still be able to stop me if I end up stuck with some crazy bastard? Or, you gonna wait until I'm responsible enough not to be a moron in all aspects?" He was obviously pissing about, he didn't think he was stupid enough now to end up with an evil master.. He is, but he doesn't think he is. "Anyways.." He added with a slightly more nervous tone, "you don't always know what I'm up too, right, does that mean you know I granted Rob's last wish?"
Also, he couldn't refer to Vaith in his mind as 'daddy'. He just couldn't. That sent his mind running down all kinds of wrong paths.
"Grandvampy doesn't want you to leave for anywhere right?" That would be a complete upturn of his life. The slight anxiety ridden thought of it rooted quickly and he let himself stop floating so he was stood steady on the ground again. Sometimes his own assumptions overcome him a little and he ends up jumping to some conclusions that sometimes suck royally.

Vaith was not very used to having to play at therapist but he sensed Ez needed some reassurance, something that somewhat came with his role as sire. But there was really no worry for the Jinn that he would be abandoned, let go, moved out or any other phrasing of the idea any time soon. Not even being a year into his undead life yet, he was a baby, newborn, even hitting a year with fangs he wouldn’t graduate to a toddler in Vaith’s eyes. Past people he had turned, yes he had ‘let go’ soon after but circumstances just led to events that forced him too, and yeah there was the rare few that took to the lifestyle with no issues so it was pointless keeping them attached.
“I would wait until you stop being a moron.” Vaith replied with a small nod, “We more or less have eternity, after all.” Vaith hopes it would not take that long, truth be told he doesn’t not wish to live forever, just doesn’t quite have the desire to die any time soon either. Now he thought about it, they never did really find out if the Jinn/master link was stronger than a sire bond… More reason then to make sure Ez doesn’t get attached to anyone he shouldn’t.
The smile on Vaith’s face faded a little when Ez announced he was no longer with Rob. No, Vaith did not know Ez had granted the man’s last wish, at least he hadn’t realised that was what he had felt a while ago. “I felt you had done something… wasn’t sure what.” Vaith said with a shrug, now just a bit worried he was going to need to keep closer eyes on the baby-vamp to avoid him getting paired with someone he rather not be. The moaning alone when his supposed boyfriend got linked to the icy woman caused Vaith to want to break things, he hate to think how it feel to have his own Childe attached to someone annoying.
Looking back to Ez, Vaith shook his head. “No.” he said simply as he watched the now non-floating Jinn. Well, it was a small lie. Grandvampy did want him to leave but just had no power to force him other than trying well rehearsed guilt speeches. “I told him no. He needs help but that’s not my problem.” Vaith said with a shrug. “I have you to think about anyway. Can’t drop everything with no notice.” Later, when he was calmer, Vaith could see himself calling back and offering some aid of some kind but he still wouldn’t actually leave. He hated to admit he needed Manson as much as he hates to admit he still needs his own sire in his life.

Ez is sure he knows who'd he rather trust and obey in the event of being torn between two orders, even if he doesn't know who his next master will be at this time he'd rather stay on his sire's side. The baby vamp believes the man is a good person. He trusts him. Ez's grin returned when he was given the reassurance that he'd at least stick around until he was no longer a moron. It was the wording that amused him but the meaning he took from it was indeed reassuring. If Vaith were anybody else he'd give him a big ol' kiss on the cheek, but he had no desire to be smacked upside the head so just a happy little grin it was.
"Eternity to get some smarts behind me, I reckon I'll get there eventually." He had too, it's like people keep on telling him around here, he's just a kid still. He doesn't like to be told that, nobody his age would, but compared to their old asses he guesses he is a kid, only nineteen years old. Most of them have probably held grudges that are older than him. He reached out to lightly nudge Vaith on the arm, a silent little 'thanks'. And a reason to touch him. Any reason to touch him. Ez has always been quite a tactile person. "Drugs probably don't help much with the whole brain building stuff.. But, oh well."
He still kind of wants to hug the guy tightly whenever he see's him.. But he's learnt restraint. He's not so successful at keeping to himself when he's really high, but semi sober, he's totally in control.
Vaith didn't seem too bothered about the news about Rob and himself being a free Jinn now. That smile on his face had faded a little, but hey, it wasn't a frown and he wasn't being scruffed and shaken like a dog so win win! "Yeah.. I was kind of thinking that if i lost my transfiguration I could always y'know, maybe try and cut back on the drugs a little..? But then I realised that I don't think I'm ready for that. So like, bit regretful about it now but I'm definitely going to be finding myself a dealer, pretty sure I know where to find at least one. Maybe two. Might be easier to trust somebody for drugs rather than finding somebody else for a master." He's not actively looking for one, Ez is pretty certain that Vaith would want some input on anybody anyway. He's definitely in no rush.
No.. But only because he'd told him no? So his sire did want him to go someplace? Needless to say if Vaith went anywhere then he'd end up having a little tag along whether he wanted one or not. Unless he ordered him to stay put in Manson in which case he'd obviously have to stay but he wouldn't be happy about it. "Even with notice," he said with a lopsided, mildly worried smile, "wouldn't want to leave me alone for too long, who knows what I'd get up too." Probably not much, other than missing him and possibly sleeping in his bed some nights like a lost puppy. Ez doesn't think he's that much of a troublemaker.. A prankster and somebody who enjoys winding up dangerous people but not too bad of a troublemaker. Still, he doesn't want Vaith to go.
"I'd be a good tagalong for a journey if you do need to go anywhere, so like, keep that in mind..."
He took another drag on his joint and blew the smoke straight up into the air with a small sigh, "do you reckon we'll ever get outta here?" He will, Ez is in Manson voluntarily, he's not so sure about Vaith though..

Vaith gave another smile, “Can always hope.” he replied, still joking at Ez’s expense but the Jinn seemed to be taking it in good humour, though truthfully Vaith hoped the kid gained a bit of book and street smarts well before the end of the world came around, otherwise it was all a bit pointless really. But no, drugs probably did not help, it was just not something Vaith felt he could have any comment on due to his own addiction without sounding like a massive hypocrite. As helpful as it might be to put Ez on a temporary pill ban like he did a fang one, Vaith figured it would cause more problems than it would solve. “Helps with other things.” Was all he said in reply to that, which in turn could maybe help in some way with brain building, taking you mind off worries and stuff to focus on more important things… Yeah, drugs were good for them in this instance.
Smoking something calming was helping Vaith not worry too much about Ez being free and claimable now. Admittedly he did not know or could not remember what exactly this all meant other than Ez was answering to one less person but soon got an explanation and it caused the concern to get a little higher. Ez did mention something about only having certain abilities while attached, didn’t he? Vaith frowned slightly wondering if this meant he would have to cut back on random requests too… find his own dealer again, if the guy wasn’t too pissed at being ignored for so long. Vaith hadn’t really needed to seek out an outside source with Ez around. “I can give you a name, if he still works.” Vaith would prefer they use the same person just to make sure what they get is good or as good as can be for something that is probably slowly killing parts of you off, or would be more if they were not already dead.
For a moment Vaith wondered why he didn’t pair up with Ez, create a double sire bond of some kind. Would that even work? Looking back to Ez, Vaith thought it over, thought if he would really want the kid to be that close to him. The last thing he wanted was the Jinn in his head more than he already was, privacy would just be a thing of the past and Vaith enjoyed his secret thoughts. Ez could just be really needy, it wasn’t something Vaith thought he could deal with in any sensitive manner if subjected to it too much so maybe it was for the best he did not get a gold band on his wrist. But if he was honest, it really depended on how the drug flow went as addiction would drive this sire to give up most things including privacy to get an easy and instant supply back. Throwing socks at Ez and having a stash of pills replace them.
“I wouldn’t ever just leave and not say anything. Not by choice.” Vaith said, which was a small lie, he had done it many times in the past. But he nodded agreeing that for a short journey at least Ez would be good to tag along. Short it would have to be too.
“You, sure. Me…” Vaith gave a shrug, it was another reason why his own sire was pissed with him. Staying here had not really been part of the plan. “I have no immediate desire to leave.” Vaith was comfy in his rut.

Making himself the butt of a joke is something he's always been able to do well, mostly because he doesn't take insults or criticism to heart. Ocassionally he will, but he doesn't even know what could hit a nerve while some worst spoken things don't faze him. So he was still smiling when it continued, however, Vaith was also smiling, so that helped matters greatly. However, he wouldn't be smiling if Vaith did indeed put him on some kind of pill ban. His sire would know all about his displeasure at that, even more so considering their dorm rooms are opposite each other. Ez hadn't even thought of something like that. So best not to put that idea in his head. "It does," he admitted, his smile growing to a slightly cocky little grin, "especially certain things. I love a little bit of extra sensitivity and awareness."
Vaith obviously would have a contact, he'd been here a lot longer than he had so it made sense for him to have one. He'd have to have got his drugs from someplace before he'd dropped into Vaith's life. "If he's not I'm sure he can point us in the right direction, or be convinced to start again," Ex is pretty certain that he can be quite convincing. Usually it's more like he gets his own way just so he'll leave those people alone. He can be a thorn in people's sides if he so wishes to be, "what's the name? I'll check him out." There's no information he can't find out eventually, all he'd need is a name if the guy is a resident within Manson, or even in the nearest town.
Not by choice. "Well, nobody can take you away.." Because he's Vaith. He'd kick anybody's ass who tried to get him to do something he didn't want to do, right? Ez thinks he would anyway, "you're a badass, remember?" So if disappeared then he'll think that he's left on his own accord. So hopefully he doesn't disappear. Ez'll try not to do the same. He doesn't plan on leaving Manson without his sire.. Or at least not leave until after Vaith's gone. This place is just too cozy for him to go out into the world to absolutely nothing. This is the first real home he's had in the last few years, he's comfortable.
"Me either," he piped up, trying for blase but he didn't think he sounded very cool, ".. Hey, Vaith. There places outside these walls where we can get blood? Or will I eventually have to hunt down my prey like those cheesy vampires? Stalking them down alleyways like a fiend in the night?" He's been watching too many vampire movies. "Is it weird to ask somebody along for a literal bite? 'Cause I'm asking you, want to go stalking one night?" He grinned sheepishly, kind of expecting a smirk and a 'no' but hey, he won't know unless he asks, "we could make a night of it, drug up some junkie, invite him, or her, for fun and boom. Instant meal and a high. Good plan, huh?"

As useful as Ez was, Vaith really didn’t want to turn into the type of person that might have taken advantage of the baby-vamp in the past. If he could make use of some old contacts then he would, it never hurt to keep in touch and this situation provided a good reason for doing so. Vaith chuckled a little having no doubt that if the Jinn got himself involved then the dealer probably could be convinced to start supplying them both again, wasn’t as if either of them were part time users, the guy would be making back far more than whatever it cost to get a supply in. “I don’t think it will take much work to get back in his books, I mean, I’m bringing him another customer, right?” Vaith asked with a slight questioning tone, just because he wanted to make sure Ez was following the fact that he wanted them both smoking and swallowing from the same batch. Though it took a moment for Vaith to think over if he wanted Ez going off and doing the ‘dirty work’ for him, as meeting the baby-vamp alone would either kill any chance they had before it could really begin or actually work for them, depending on how the Jinn’s ‘charm’ was taken. “Sending you a text…” Vaith added on as he quickly pulled out his phone again to send off the message with the dealers name and number, and most likely place to find him should Ez just want to smoke on over to see him with a surprise visit.
But no, nobody could just ‘take’ Vaith away now and he smirked at being called badass, that was the impression he liked to give off. Badass and hot. He figures if he did leave it would be willingly or because he been rendered unconscious so not in a state to do much about it. For now Manson was far too convenient, blood was easy to get, drugs even easier, women were willing and so he never had to work too hard to life’s other little pleasure, and yeah, Ez was here too.
For sure it was all a better plan for the immediate future than what Ez suddenly came out with. For a second it seemed he was going to ask a legitimate question, finding out where to get blood when you are cut off from a usual supply was a smart thing to know, but then Vaith was just left wondering if Ez was just been on a cheesy horror movie binge.
Vaith had to resist the urge to smack, or he tired to but having had a rough night already he still ended up putting his hand to the back of Ez’s head, not in an overly hard way but enough to show he didn’t want to hear another stupid suggestion.
“No.” He said after, fully prepared to actually give reasoning for it too. “Maybe back before smartphones and cameras everywhere but that kind of thing is a fast track way to get yourself killed, if not by vamp hunters than from other vampires who don’t want you exposing the rest of us.” Of course many can and do get away with hammer horror type activity but why take the risk? Vaith was beyond the need to stake his claim as dangerous in such a dramatic way, and there were easier ways to get blood. “Once you get out more you soon find ways to eat…” Smiling again he looked to Ez, “People rarely say no to me. Want to come back for more, if anything.” But Ez should know that already.
