K I B A It have been while since Kiba found out he was going to be stuck in this place. He stayed in his room, not even moving from his bed. He haven’t bothered putting the clothes which were given to him back on, he would have shifted but he had to energy to change due to the fact he haven’t touch his food for three days. His heart was torn in half, as he was sick of being lied too. He expected that he would only leave this place if he was in a body bag. Kiba saw the birds at his windowsill, tweeting to him as they were trying to cheer him, but Kiba didn’t want to smile or anything.
The nurse came into a room with fresh food and water, she place it on the table next to the bed. ” Try and eat something Kiba,” she said to him, but KIba would ironge her as he wasn’t interested in it. He was fed up and just give up, his spirit wasn’t in the right phrase of mind for anything now. “Just leave me alone. I don’t want anything”, he said to her and pushed the table away, so show he was serious with that. The nurse signed and paged the counsellor who was dealing with his case, to come and see he was able to do something. ”I would come and collect the tray later” she said as she left the room.
Kiba pulled the blanket move towards his shoulder and just got back to watching the window more, as he saw the clouds were moving gently against each other, thinking he would be up there one day.

Zev had a lot more on his hands these days but it was nothing that he knew he wouldn't adjust too in time. The new position came with some extra responsibilities but he was taking it in his stride and believes that he's been doing a pretty admirable job. Even if he does say so himself.. But it also meant that he had to skip out on his breaks or lunches if somebody required speaking too.. Emergencies, as it were. He was the one on call with the shiny new phone. It was a model probably first introduced in the new millenium but it worked and it was shiny, but it wasn't connected to the internet, had no games or apps and the camera was awful, thankfully it wasn't his private phone. Zev never thought he was one for the heights of technology, but he was grateful for his smartphone after having to use the keyboard on the old flip phone for over a month now.
He had been about to bite into his sandwich when his pager went off and he grunted in mild annoyance before he looked at the thing. Duty calls. So he wrapped his sandwich up. He'd take it with him and eat him there.. Maybe it'd encourage the other wolf to eat something too. Zev sighed, he didn't want extreme measures to be used against a kid but if Kiba continued on this self destructive streak then they'd have no choice. It isn't like they can just sit around and watch him die.
He knocked on Kiba's door lightly when he arrived but didn't wait for a response before he opened the thing and wandered on in quietly. Zev closed the door behind him, "good afternoon Kiba," he spoke in greeting and then went over to sit on the only chair in the room, taking his sandwich out of his pocket and bit into it. Kiba would either choose to speak back or he wouldn't. He was his counsellor, he doubted he'd be all chatty chatty now. Plus, he was a dominant wolf, the pup's alpha, already he'd broken the hierarchy rules by acknowledging him first, he was bending a little to make it easier for the kid, the least Kiba can do is be civil.

K I B A Kiba didn’t want company. He wanted to be alone, and die alone. Was that lot to ask these days. His tears were still fallen against his cheek before hitting the pillow. He still didn’t know how he was found so easily, or that he had a chip in his neck, like come domestic dog. His green eyes weren’t sparkling with spirited, they were filled with pain and sorrow. His heart was torn, and he wished that he never been able to feel. Sometimes he wished he was killed that day when the strange beast attacked him. He wished the doctor didn’t succeed and he died on the table. There were many of he wishes.
The noise of the room was silent, expect for the birds which came to him and whistled to him. At least they were still faith until he heard a knock on the door. He signed as he was getting fed up with the people coming towards him all the time. It was even worse, it was the so called alpha. Kiba wasn’t in the mood for fighting today. He just wanted to be left alone. “What so good about it?” He asked, in his pitiful tone. “What are you doing here?” He might as well asked. Out of everyone in his this stinking place, he was the least person he wanted to see. “I am just going to tell you, I am not eating anything. I don’t want, I just want to be left alone”. You can tell in his tone of voice he was depressed right now, and he wasn’t interested to eat anything due to it.

Zevren was well aware that Kiba would probably want to be left alone to die or kill himself, or do something else equally as dramatic due to his current mood. But, he and the rest of the staff at Manson had taken an oath to do nothing but try and help the students and residents alike get better. He knows he himself would prefer to see the kid thriving rather than like this, but he personally believes that the pup can't let go of the past and move on with his life. He always reverts to drastic actions without wondering how it woul affect those that had grown to like the boy. He'd witnessed the distress that Cairo had gone through when the boy had ran away from Manson yet again, but he wouldn't be telling Kiba that. He wasn't going to twist the knife in the metaphysical wound when the kid was already obviously upset..
He did wonder about his train of thought though.. What had Kiba been thinking? Everything had been going so fine and he just decided to turn tail and leave Manson again, and for what? He'd just buried himself into a deeper hole.
"This sandwich is quite good," he commented with a small smile before he took another bite, that was enough to make an afternoon good. Though he could tell by both Kiba's tone and the words he'd used that he was really at rock bottom at the moment, that didn't bode well. There was a long history of how he behaved when he got into this mood, "I'd offer to share, but I'd need a little of what's on that tray in return." He doesn't think Kiba would be up for the trade, but it was worth a shot.
"You'd feel better if you ate," he added, "with some decent food in your stomach your mind can be fuelled properly, without it you'll just feel worse and worse." Which is probably what Kiba wants anyway so he doesn't quite know why he said that, "And I'm here because I want to be here. What about you, Kiba? Why are you here in this situation again?"

K I B A Kiba which death would come lot sooner. Even though the guy’s food was making his stomach growl and mouth water. But he kept his face covered and avoidable from view so the other guy. He didn’t want him to see it, ’why can he just go he thought as he watched the window. His nude body was covered by the blanket. He signed and started to turned and just stare at him, he wasn't bothered about the food. “If you want the tray slop, then you can have it. Doubt you would like it, as it not something a alpha would really eat”, his tone was still sad there.
“You can do me something, since I wouldn't need them anymore. See the bag by you?” He pointed it. “Can you give them back to Cairo for me, as I wouldn't need them anymore.” He didn’t want things from someone who not going to be part of his life anymore in his eyes. “I just” he signed as he stopped in mid sentence. Why did he have to come here? Was he done bulling him all ready? Kiba didn’t have the motivation to fight anymore. What was the point, he was gone. They succeed he was now broken and unable to have a spirited anymore.
“I don’t want to feel better, I am not eating anymore. Nothing you would say would change that. I am not listening to any of you again. You can bully me much as you want, but I am never eating or drinking again” he said as just lied there, and move the table. “So tell the nurses to quit bringing me food, as it wasting it and I am not eating it”, he let the tears fall down, as he remembered the dinner he had, and it would be the last one.
“None of your business why I am here” he said still the tone was low and depressive state. The tears were still falling down from his eyes. “Just leave me alone, I just want to be alone”, Kiba pleaded though, he doubt he would do it, but he thought he ask anyway.

Admittedly the food that they had left Kiba wasn't exactly the most appetising of foods, plain chicken breast and what smelt like unseasoned mashed potato and beans? So it wasn't the type of food that made his mouth water, he likes something with a little more flavour. But Kiba would get better food once he was back to eating normally, plain food was better for his stomach considering that he hasn't been eating anything at all. Anything too flavourful would just make him ill and that wasn't what they wanted in the slightest. Kiba might want to believe that everybody in Manson was against him and wanted the worst for him but the only person not looking out for the pup is the pup himself.
He'd heard the rumbling of Kiba's stomach and sighed quietly before he leaned forward to pick up the tray and deposit his sandwich on the bedside table within the kid's reach. He cold sacrifice his sandwich for the greater good. Besides, plain chicken breast wasn't that bad, which he proved by biting into it, "alpha's can eat whatever they choose," he pointed out. The counsellor made a thoughtful noise before taking another bite of the chicken, "it's actually not too bad, I've eaten worse things." He'd had to learn to cook after all, he'd cooked some pretty awful things in his time.
Zev glanced at the bag and reached over to open it up a little bit to look inside, "no." He said quite firmly after he had done, "I won't do that. As far as I'm aware they were a gift and people don't take gifts back. Cairo cared for you, Kiba, he still does. He can't just turn off his emotions but neither can he help you it seems. Your actions were selfish and endangering both yourself and him." He had no doubt that Kiba loved the Life skills teacher, but he didn't think that the pup cared about him. Why else would he have ran from Manson when things were going so well? Why would he run to the same place that Cairo and him had got attacked the last time?
Did Kiba even know that Cairo had a fear of shifters? That he'd been a wreck after that had happened? Did Kiba even care or had he been so selfishly wrapped up in his own feelings? To have the boy return to that place.. It seemed to have got to a point where the teacher realised that he couldn't help Kiba on his own. It wasn't fair to either of them to continue down the route of adoption. Which was entirely Kiba's fault, he had to be 'better' in order to be adopted but he refused to do even the simplest of things.
Zev sighed and stck his finger in the mashed potato and licked it off, "nobody is bullying you, Kiba. Not letting you die isn't bullying, and if you truly think it is then you've clearly never been bullied before in your life.. You've done this to yourself, and the sooner you realise that and perhaps take some responsibility for your actions then you'll realise that and it can be made better." Because he may well not want to eat or drink, but if he keeps that up then he'll be too weak to prevent them from strapping him down and feeding him via a tube and hydrating him via an IV. The last thing they'll do is sit by and watch him die, they aren't the monsters that the kid clearly thinks that they are.
"Tell me, have you thought about how Cairo is feeling right now? At all? Do you think this was an easy decision for him? Or are you ignoring the fact that you damn near broke his heart when you chose to run into the forest again? You both could have died there before, what were you thinking?"
"We want to help you, kid, but it'd be easier if you just accepted that we aren't going to let you die and start to work with us rather than constantly against us. Maybe then, when you're better, we can revisit the whole adoption thing. But until then you need to learn how to live healthily and happily."
He bit into the chicken again and chewed contently, it really wasn't that bad.

K I B A Kiba didn’t think the alpha would even consider taking his muck. He didn’t really care as he wouldn’t eat whatever he was going to give him. Even though he stated many of times that he doesn’t eat meat, he was still being given it and Kiba wouldn’t touch the stuff. When the male came over though, and leaned forward. Kiba expected a beaten of some kind, like before and he coward and flinch. Normally he would have bitten and get the strike before he was able to get the beaten, but his strength wasn’t there.
Instead the male did the trade thing. Even though it smelt delicious, Kiba refused to take it. He ironged the angry rumbles in his stomach. He haven’t heard from Cairo since he was told the news that it wouldn’t happen. He didn’t say it out loud, but he said some mean things when he was in his room. If the guy wasn’t going to take the items back, then Kiba would just give them to the other kids who want them. He wouldn’t use them. He had visions in his mind that he was going to play catch with Cairo in the park. He was close to calling him father as well, but he re-farmed that and now he was glad he did.
Kiba had subsion that it wasn’t all Cairo’s decion, he expected it was Fabian too, since he never got along with that guy. He didn’t say anything to that, and was more focus on the darn bracelet thing he had on his wrist again. He was getting fed with this. He hated having things on him, as it treated him like some domestic dog. He started to try and take it off, but it was triple tight this time. He couldn’t get his fingers through it to take it off, and this was going to buy him. “They wouldn’t be any use for me where I am going to go. Then gift them to the other kids which are here, there bound to be some around here” he said, as he always expected death.
Once he was done he turned his back onto him. Some of the blanket exposed his back, showing he was indeed nude without anything. He wouldn’t break down in front of the guy, knowing this what he properly wanted. Try to be friendly and then use what you say against you. Kiba wondered the things he told Cairo or what he seen, was shared to the guy now. He seriously hoped not, as those things he considered were private and he wanted it to be remained that way. He didn’t want them to used anymore ammo against him. “I was bullied. More than you can ever imagine, I don’t want to talk about it. I am not giving you anymore ammo against me.” He wouldn’t go to the pack meeting anymore or even the classes. He used to go to Cairo every single day, and learnt some things, but that was in his past, as with everything else.
“How can I, when I haven’t seen him since he came out with that information. I know I am damaged and I know everything is stupid. I heard it every single day, from the moment I was born. Is should have died, but my alpha saved me and adopted me into his own pack. I messed up, but if I didn’t care about him, then why did I risk my own life to save him. I don’t remember much of that day, except that he held me back to prevent me to strike more. I would die for him, because that was loyalty does. If he was my alpha I would have fought for him… I didn’t think I do what I know best, I run to think. If you just gave me like three minutes I would have return back, on my own. It’s my way off cooling down.” he stared at the wall while talking about this. He doubt it would do any good.
“I am not falling for that again. It wouldn’t be happening, so quit lying to me. I already told Cairo this when we first met. I wouldn’t be leaving here in a body bag. I have accepted that fate now. I am not going to have family, I am not being adopted. So you can stop using that line”, he wouldn’t accept that Cairo would do it again. He didn’t listen much the help. The spirit inside was too broken for that. “I doubt you want to help me very much. It’s just another lie… How many more are you going through at me”.
Slowly Kiba started to try to bring the shift on. The shift would kill him as his body had no energy to process the shift completely. But he would still try it anyway. Kiba had lot of stuff build up but he refusing to talk about, and allow zev in. Just like he did with Cairo and his old alpha.

Zev just cocked a brow when Kiba flinched away from him, but he didn't slow nor alter his movements in any way. He didn't plan on hurting the kid, if anything the boy had more of a history of lashing out at any authority figure more than them striking him first.. And a good wolf doesn't attack their alpha, not without it being a challenge for the position anyway. It did make Zevren wonder just how many times he had been struck in the past, not many people will cower from close contact unless they've experienced something rather dark in the past. Zev wasn't going to question about that right now, he'd try and work that into a conversation a little later.
He could obviously hear the rumbling of Kiba's stomach but he didn't try and push the kid to eat, if he didn't want too then nagging him would just end up pissing him off and he really didn't feel like having Kiba shouting and screaming at him right now. And he didn't want to be accused to 'bullying' him again. If the kid couldn't see the difference between being told what to do by somebody in an authoritive position and somebody bullying him then the red wolf was a lot more messed up than he thought. And he wasn't taking the things Cairo had given to Kiba. The Life Skills teacher wasn't a bad person in the slightest, he knew his limitations and Kiba had far too many problems for him to deal with on his own.. Cairo wasn't a therapist, he was trying to help a child who needed love and a family and really, even in Zev's eyes, the kid had thrown it all back in Cairo's face when he'd ran away again.
"You're not going anywhere, Kiba, not until you're better and able to live like a sensible and safe individual. Regardless of what you think we only want to help you." He had already assumed that Kiba wouldn't be clothed, ever since he'd started shifting to human he had been a pain in the ass to get dressed, it was something Cairo had been struggling with too.. Zev wasn't so sure a human should be raising a pup like Kiba, he'd grown up feral, he needed a Pack. Not just one person. He wasn't going to be forcing Kiba to join their pack though, he isn't a tyrant.
Zev rose an eyebrow and continued chewing on his food, only speaking once he'd swallowed because he does have manners, "when have I ever used anything as ammunition against you, Kiba? You act like I'm the devil incarnate when all I've ever done is expect you to behave like a proper wolf your age. That includes giving people the respect that they give you and not acting like a brat. You have a long history of acting like a brat, whether you admit it or not and I don't know whether that's due to the bullying you say you went through, but at some point you'll need to grow up kid." In Zev's mind it's like he expects people to do things for him or that they owe him because of what he's been through. The world is harsh, nobody owes anybody anything in the world. Firstly you need to learn to look out for yourself. Zev had done, he was forced to leave his pack as soon as he was old enough to do so.
If Kiba had been in his old pack then he would have had that behaviour beaten out of him. Zev's old pack hadn't been easy either, he'd had it rough, but he hadn't let that define him. He'd made himself better. Now he had this job, he had good friends that he'd kept for years and he had Fabian. When he was Kiba's age he never would have thought he'd have any of this.
"You both almost died out there!" Zevren snapped suddenly, losing his cool for a moment because Kiba just didn't seem to understand the severity of what he'd done, "you and him could have been slaughtered. You just admitted that you knew that and yet you returned to this place again, were you trying to die and take Cairo to the grave with you? Is that what you want, because that may have been the result. You endangered both yourself and him. It was selfish and stupid." He paused to take a deep breath, he didn't sound angry, he was impatient and irritated because how could the kid not grasp this concept? "Your history of running from this place proves that to be a lie, Kiba. The grounds are vast enough for you to find silence and solitude and yet that wasn't good enough for you, you had to cross a boundary because that's what you do just to prove you can. Not anymore kid, not. Any. More."
Because he was determined that they were going to give the boy the restrictions, the rules and the routine that kids need to realise they can't just do whatever the bloody hell they feel like doing. Because Kiba was a child and he should learn to do as he's told.
Zev's nostrils flared as he scented the change in Kiba and the wolf inside of him let out a growl at the thought of him shifting right now, "it won't work, Kiba, if you attempt to shift now all that will happen is I'll call in the nearest guard and you'll be tranquilised. So stop trying to be dramatic and eat a damn sandwich. We aren't going to let you die. It'd break Cairo's heart. It'd show those bullies that they were right. And you'd never get to grow up. And contrary to popular belief I don't lie. Often. Things will get better, even if you don't believe me now, you will."

K I B A Kiba stopped with the shifting as it wasn’t working and he was stuck in this form. He didn’t believe the guy was serious in his words saying he wouldn’t be able to go outside and run off. Kiba would get away, he would keep on going until he was too exhausted to do anymore running. There was nothing for him here anymore. The only thing which kept him going forward in this place was Cairo, but he was no longer in his life now. He have cancelled him for good, he doesn’t even visit his classroom anymore. There wasn’t a reason too, and death came to everyone. Cairo had love now, he wouldn’t miss him, no one would. So he doubt that guilt would work.
He didn’t bother to respond to the guy. Kiba didn’t treat him as his alpha, he already had a alpha, but he was deceased. He was kind and friendly. He would play with him and accept him for what he was, which was no meat eating and having animals are his friends. Here they didn’t expect that. Leaning on the window still he placed his arms to the side, and resting on his chin. He let the tears fall down his cheek, he hated being kept inside, he wanted to be outside. It was like he was being kept as prisoner and they were trying to break him. Kiba wouldn’t go to the pack meetings here, he wouldn’t go to the lessons anymore. They were pointless and he wouldn’t be accepted into the society of theirs anyway.
The guy was on about the sandwich again and shooked his head. He wouldn’t eat it never. If he was in wolf form right now, you see his hips sticking out of the skin. He was used to the yelling and infect if everyone was angry with him, it meant they hated him and getting others to hate would be best. Kiba knew how to get Cairo to hate him, and that’s using his fear against him. He could always turned on him, showing his teeth was enough to get the guy to be scared of him and keep away from him as well. “Cairo will forget about me soon enough, he got someone else. He’ll forget I even existed” he growled a little in his tone.
“I am not eating anything. For one I don’t meat how many times do I have to tell you guys. I don’t eat animals, they are my only friends in this stinking place. They also don’t betray and lie me.” he frowned and as he didn’t bother to look him, he didn’t respect him. “Don’t care what you think being alpha here would do to me, you would never be mind. My alpha was way better than you, and he would be the only one I have respect to. Even though he deceased now.” He didn’t know he was alive, and might even be here to as well.
‘They can’t keep me locked up inside forever, and tell me what to do. I don’t belong to them. I belong back home’ he whispered to himself, even though he forget the super hearing senses. Finally his stomach have given up on rumbling watched the others playing, talking and enjoying the outside. While he was stuck indoors being bored out of his mind. If staving himself aren’t going to kill him, the boredom surely.
“The bullies of mind have already won. They killed the alpha. Turn almost everyone a killer, if they didn’t kill then they would kill them. Anyway they are dead now, what does it matter now”. He let another tear. “It would never get better. The world just get darker and darker. It not worth it anymore. I just had enough of it.” he signed. “Cairo would move on, he got a good friend for that. He would soon forget me, which I already told you.”

If Kiba wasn't going to eat then of course he wouldn't have the energy to literally shift his body into another form, it took a lot of concentration and a lot of energy in order to do so and because of the kid's own self neglect he could probably do neither of those things. As for Cairo, he knew that the Like Skills teacher hadn't left his life for good, if Kiba thought that then he really hadn't known the teacher in the slightest, he must have a very, very low opinion of the man actually if he believed that to be true. Zev would tell Kiba that too if he said anything so stupid about Cairo being out of his life..
It did seem to be all or nothing with Kiba and the alpha was losing patience with the boy. The man could vaguely understand that the boy was heartbroken, but the wolf inside of him wanted him to grab Kiba by the scruff of the neck like a naughty pup and shake some sense and obedience into him. In his old pack this behaviour from Kiba would never have been tolerated, the boy literally had no respect for anybody other than himself. Perhaps he doesn't even know what respect is, because even when it came to Cairo he didn't show respect. He constantly pushed every boundary that was ever set and as a result of that the kid had fucked things up for himself.
And now he was moping over the consequences of his own actions.
It was almost enough to make Zev want to pull out his own hair. The dark haired male cocked an eyebrow and chewed on a piece of chicken when Kiba started going o about Cairo forgetting him, "do you forget about people that easily then, Kiba?" It was a legitimate question, perhaps a problem where he did forget about people if he found somebody more interesting? Because most people don't work that way, "Cairo deserves somebody, don't you think? Especially at this time.. Let's try and put yourself in his shoes. Imagine you loved somebody and were trying to help them in every way that you can. Imagine that you almost got severely hurt trying to look after that person, then imagine that person turned their back on you, refused to believe a word you'd ever told them and ran to that very place that you once could have died in. How would you feel?"
He guesses Kiba wouldn't imagine any of it and would come up with yet another story about how it's not his fault. The kid needed to own up to his actions.
"Kiba," he sighed loudly, "do you think we're going to force you to anything other than live? We want you to eat, learn and thrive. I certainly don't want you in my pack if you're going to be miserable there, I don't want you causing trouble for the rest of the wolves that want to be there.. If you won't accept me as alpha, or Fabian, then there's no place for you in the pack." It was as simple as that. He's not saying he wouldn't want Kiba there at all, but he's saying he doesn't want him there if he really doesn't want to be there. What's even the point? He most certainly won't be forced to come to a pack meet ever again. He can stay inside with a guard instead.. Zevren would be noting that Kiba should be escorted by a member of staff at all times until he begins accepting treatment.
The kid just can't be trusted on his own. Those days had passed, something had to be done. Plus, the animals that were already dead, like the chicken that Zev was munching on, or the ham in the sandwich he'd left for the boy were already dead.. Plus, the wolf inside would eventually grow hungry enough to see an animal as the prey it is. Nobody can deny their nature forever.
Zev rolled his eyes, "you're one hell of a dramatic kid," he mused, "the world keeps getting darker and darker to you? It does tend to do that when you sabotage every good thing that ever happens to you. You don't trust the good things when they happen and you ruin them, now I can't blame you to trust good things when they happen considering your past but you need to let the past go. You're still living in it. And it will destroy you because you're choosing to let it destroy you.. Even now you seem to think we're so very unfair for treating you the way we are. At the end of the day, kid, did you ever think that your worst enemy is actually yourself?"

Kiba didn’t think for moment that Cairo shouldn’t have someone to love. He was please he got someone, which means he wouldn’t end up missing him. It was best this way, he wouldn’t eat. He gone part of the hunger stage right now. Even if he end up weak he wouldn’t have worry about being a burden for anyone. He should have died long time ago, and he accepted that now. He missed his family too much to keep on fighting and wanting to live. He accepted his death in this place and that the way it would be. He looked at the guy more and growled weakily. “I am please he found someone. I am glad he is happy, that’s all i could ask for. At least he is happy, and that’s all that matters to me.” He didn’t pay attention to the last part he was mentioning though, it was no point.
“I can’t accept you as alpha, i just can’t”, he was doing it to be disrespectful. He just promise his old alpha he wouldn’t betray him and if he goes accepting someone else, he would have broken his promise to his old alpha. “I made a promise when my alpha died that I wouldn’t betray him. If i accept you, then it would come back of me betraying my alpha. You wouldn’t understand that”, he felt the staff guarding skills were a joke and they couldn’t hold him down here. He would easily slipped away from them. He done it countless times.
“But you wouldn’t understand I don’t saving. I am tired of it, I accept my fate, why can you just let me go in peace”, he place the sandwich on the tray showing he wouldn’t eat it just like anything else. He have tied a blanket around his body was thin. He got up and was very weak to stand for long period, but he was getting fed up with the session now. His mind was broken and nothing would repair it. “That’s because there no such thing as good in the world. It’s just darkness and lot worse. The only person I can relay on, the only person I know wouldn’t betray me, is myself. I know now that better this way. You can try and lock me up but it wouldn’t work”, he said and headed to the door, holding on the frame, to keep himself up, steady as he couldn’t support his own weight himself anymore.

Zev really didn't know what to say to Kiba. The child was so depressive when he really had no need to be. He would be fed here, he'd had a room, he could have his own pack, the only person holding him back from living a happy life is himself. All because he can't stand the thought of people actually looking out for him and telling him what to do. That's how Zevren was seeing it anyway.. Kiba's own stubborness was holding him back from being a normal child. His assumptions and his beliefs that everybody was out to get him was infuriatingly annoying. Even Cairo hadn't been able to get Kiba to trust him enough to get him to stop running away into the wilderness, and yet Kiba couldn't see or accept that anything was his fault. The world and the people within it are obviously to blame.
"You think I wouldn't understand betraying an alpha?" He asked with a sudden smile and a brief laugh, "Oh, Kiba, I understand that perfectly, you must think I'm some sort of idiot not to get that and I'm definitely not, kid. You loved your old alpha, and if he loved you I'm sure he wouldn't want you pining for him for the rest of your life. People die, Kiba, and it's sad. But you have to move on eventually. Just because you allow yourself to join another pack doesn't mean that you're betraying his memory or his status as alpha. And doing what somebody else asks you to do doesn't mean you're betraying him either. Whether you like it or not, the adults telling you how to behave are only trying to help. Not control you."
Kiba would find slipping past the guards a little more difficult than usual now. With Fabian in charge a lot of the holes in the system had been ironed out. The pup had hardly any energy anyway, if he couldn't shift then he would hardly be able to make it down the corridor, let alone try and escape again. He wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. The wall around the perimeter had been fixed. That hole he'd kept slipping through finally bricked back up. With his lack of strength Kiba didn't have a hope in hell in running away again. Zev didn't understand why he wanted to get out so badly anyway, the last time he'd escaped he'd been found half starved in the wild. The kid literally had nothing to run too..
"You can't rely on yourself," he pointed out as he stood back to his feet, "you're killing yourself. You are literally your own worse enemy and you're hating the rest of the world because we're fighting for you." He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck as he walked over to Kiba and pretty much picked up him up easily before carrying him back over to his bed and placing him down gently, "don't be a fool, Kiba, you're not going anywhere. You're not very well and you're not leaving. So either start eating or you'll be escorted to the medical center where you will be strapped down, have an IV inserted and fed through a tube if necessary. Because if there's one promise I will make you it's this, I'm not going to let you die."

K I B A Kiba hated being carried by a complete stranger and more importantly another alpha. He would have bitten but he had no strength to fight back. It like they have beaten him into submission, he wasn’t caring about living right now. He wanted peace, and he remembered his alpha telling him there was a paradise out there with peace and lot more. He wanted to be in this paradise and be back with his alpha, be a lot better than this place. He looked at the guy more and frown, he wouldn’t believe him with this talk about hurting himself.
“I can rely on myself. It’s the only thing that doesn't let me down. Don’t lie to me for their own gain. That’s what you and everyone here have done. You all lie and just want to control me all the time.” he spoke firmly to him. “I have the right to do what I want to my body. There is nothing you can do about it. You can’t do anything to me without my consent. Your not my father or legal guardian, you have no right to me. I belong to no one.” He didn’t know his age was against him here. “Why can’t you just respect my wishes. I just want to go to my paradise. I just want to go home” he signed as he would refuse to eat.
“I told you I don’t want to eat anything. I am never eating again.” He breathed more and frowned more. “If you force anything in me I would just throw it back up.” He growled at that, showing he meant it. He might not be able to fight against him, but he would still show dominating behaviour. He was promised the alpha position in his pack, he was strong and determined which is why his old alpha loved him so much. But Kiba failed to protect him and he was gone forever.
“Please the staff here are controlling as hell. I would never think of them differently.” He growled more. “I don’t need a pack. Never join one and betray my alpha, never” this was wrong, he needed a pack to teach him how to behave and keep his wolf side happy. Being isolated and alone, was making the wolf depressed and unhappy. But he would snoop to his level, and bow to him, never. He had a lot of anger and keeping it locked inside wasn’t a good idea. He has hidden it so well from everyone, even from Cairo. But being locked up in the room, he wasn’t able to hold it in for much longer.
“My alpha loved me for what I am. He didn’t force me to do anything I didn’t want to. He never forces me to eat meat. He loved me for being different. I wouldn’t find another one like him, ever”, he started to play with his fingers, he was able to shift his wolf claws, so he basically cut into things. His flesh was one of them, but since the bloody man was still here, he wouldn’t do that right now. Cutting into his wrist was another way he could do. Bleeding out was a lot quicker than starving himself, but he needed to be alone long enough for it to work.
Kiba didn’t know how long that would be, but he knew the guy had to leave and go home. Then he would be all alone. That would be his moment. He smirked as he thought the plan, and he knew the staff would have no idea.

"You're literally killing yourself." He didn't know how many times he was going to have to tell Kiba that before he realised that that was what he was doing to himself. The kid had even admitted that he doesn't want to be around anymore, he's letting himself don big time by allowing himself to slowly die. "And we don't want to control you kid, but you and the rest of the world have to follow certain civil ways of living. There are rules to life, you can't just do whatever you want to do... And you're a kid. A child. Regardless of what you say you have no right to make decisions for yourself, Kiba, you're too young. Adults who care make those final decisions for you... And I'm sorry, really, I am, but we just can't allow you to die."
He'd placed Kiba back down onto the bed by this point and took a seat on the edge of the mattress himself, his back to the kid but he bent over to run a hand through his hair. Zevren, in that moment, looked tired. It would take a while for Kiba to turn around and be anything like a normal kid, but he did wish that the kid didn't want to die. It was saddening. Very much so and the alpha wolf was a little stuck for ideas on how to make him feel better.
"I don't want to go to the forcefeeding route, Kiba. It wouldn't be painful and they'd sedate you so there's no way you'd be able to throw back up what they give you. Or you could end up with a needle in your arm feeding you nutrients intravenously. Either way, what you think won't happen will happen whether you like it or not. So why bother fighting it? Just eat. It's easier for us all." It was obvious that he was hungry, after all the kids stomach had been rumbling not five minutes ago. "I can always take you down to the greenhouses so you can pick out your own fresh fruits and veg if that's what it'd take to get you eating? If you aren't eating then you're only letting yourself down."
He wasn't going to beg Kiba to join the pack. He doesn't want the kid there if he doesn't want to be there, what would even be the point? He can stay inside when they meet instead, it'd be easier all around that way. He frowned a little when Kiba went on to talk about his old alpha again and then he sighed, "so, you were raised spoilt? In the real world you won't get whatever it is that you want, Kiba, the few rules we've given you are to be followed by everybody. Not just you. Or do you think yourself better than the rest of the residents and students within Manson?"
Zev noticed that smirk.. And he knew he wouldn't be leaving this room without making sure that Kiba was monitored. As soon as the kid collapses, which he'll be doing soon considering he hardly has the strength to even stand on his own two feet, he'll be taking him to the medical center. Kiba was now officially also on suicide watch. So good luck with him trying to slit his wrists..

Kiba was really getting fed up with this. He just want paradise where there is no pain and suffering anymore. He just wanted to be reunited with his pack, what’s so bad with that. He didn’t ask to come to this place, and he truly hated being here. He wanted his freedom where he could just run freely and get away from everything. He thought family was needed for him, but he screwed that up and saw that it wasn’t for him. He was going to be alone, and that would never change. Why should he allow someone to become close around him, or let them in. when it was just going to be destroyed anyway. “Why do you adults always believe you can control others all the time. Do you even consider what I truly want? I didn’t ask to be brought here. I just want to return back to own packland, where I was born” he hated his country, it was different and he wouldn’t like it never. He frowned and just stared back at the blank wall again. It was so boring being indoors, and he often wondered about his pack. Would this even happen if their were still around. He didn’t know they were dead, until Cairo managed somehow to see what happened to him. Kiba kept with the cold and mean streak towards him. He expected it was better than showing the weakness around him. He didn’t want pity or anything. He wanted them to hate him more than anything. It was better that way. Have others hate him before they let him down. He breathed more. “You think a tube through the nose is going to painless? I am not stupid” he narrowed his eyes at the bricks, and stroked them more. ‘I wished I was killed too, now I trapped in this stupid place forever’, he whispered and he knew with Zev’s wolf ears he would have heard that. Then he heard about going outside to collect some fresh food. He could just eat that, and then throw it back up. Use the pretend card, it was the only option he had left. He slowly went towards Zev, he was nervous on going nearer and touching him. Just in case he gets hurt again. He hesitated to place his arms around his body, and laid his head onto his shoulder. “I am sorry” he said softly, as the plan to throw up was still there. If there was another pack meeting he wouldn’t just stay indoors. He used the opportunity to go out on his own. He didn’t need the others for this, even though his wolf wanted company and be accepted/wanted. He growled a little as he spoke about how he was raised. His alpha never believed in rules and allowed the pack to do what it wanted, expect for murder and raping others. “I don’t care about the others here. I didn’t even ask to come here.” He snapped and showed his teeth, even when he was in human form. Kiba went back to lying on his back and playing with his nails which were now claws. He was still able to part shift. He just wanted to be a wolf and never be a human again. “Soon as I able too. I would stay as a wolf. Nothing would get me back to this stupid body.” He was being serious. He would then go outside and stay there, refusing to go back inside. If anyone tries to force him he would attack. He wasn’t going to take their manhandling anymore. “Why are you still here anyway. Don’t you have to get home to your” he didn’t mention his name, as he played with his wrist with his claws, as he was serious with silting them. Tagged: ZEVREN ULRIC ADOLFO
