This wasn't the normal scene for the little blonde that walked through the Conservatory. Usually, she went to the pool when she had time away from... Well just anytime she wasn't doing something. She was a siren, after all, so the water was where she was comfortable. She couldn't be away from it for too long, but she knew that there was beauty on land as well... And she needed to explore that beauty. It had been too long since she had explored a place on land. She had gotten in a routine of just going for a swim when things started to seem... Maybe a little bleak. Though maybe that wasn't even the right word. She thought too much, you see. And in thinking too much, one could find that they were criticizing themselves a lot. Which wasn't anything new for the young woman. The sweatshirt she wore hid most of her, but the leggings didn't hide a thing. She was thin. She didn't eat... Or at least tried not to until she would actually die. She had been hospitalized several times for it before coming to Manson. And since coming to Manson, she had found that she was gaining weight. She tried not to think about it. She tried to tell herself that it was what she needed, but she still found herself criticizing her body and how she looked. All of the doctors told her she was looking so much better and much closer to a healthy weight. All she saw was weight gain and how she didn't want that.
It was times when she thought too much that she found she needed to get out of her dorm to clear her mind. Despite the fact that the light outside was fading into the darkness of night, she had had to escape her thoughts. She wanted to go for a swim... In her siren form, she was perfect. No flaws (at least in her eyes) that could be seen. But she found herself wandering on foot, and before she knew it, she was in the conservatory. She had only ever been past it, never inside. Bright eyes looked around the room, and a small smile came upon her face. This was a beautiful place. Beauty on land. That's what she had been looking for. Looking around again and deciding that no one was in there with her, she whistled one tone for just a moment. Acoustics were great. She bit her lip and looked around again before finding a comfortable looking chair and sitting, looking out one of the windows with her back to the door. And then she sang. She was aware of the ramifications of her song, so she only sang when there was no one around. But she had to sing. She was a siren, after all. Charm, especially in the form of song, was her specialty despite her having never used it for it's intended purpose. And when the acoustics were good, she couldn't resist. She hoped that the room was at least a little sound-proof so she wouldn't be attracting too many passers-by with her song. She just wanted to sing a moment... It would help her clear her head.
