Ana didn't really know what she'd done. Maybe the word had finally gotten around about how she'd gotten Sage his soul back, or maybe someone had just got annoyed that she was mostly ignoring the dead, but for some reason or another, she found herself surrounded on her way to her classroom that morning. Three or four of the ghosts hanging around Manson had decided to pester her. "Why was there a Reaper?" "Why were we left behind?" "Help me!" "Leave us alone." It was all just mingling together for her right now. She wasn't able to mute them like Sage was and she didn't particularly feel like using her powers until she got into her desk drawer. Ever since she'd see that ring work for Louis, Ana had slowly been working on something similar for herself. Of course, she wasn't binding actual souls to the bracelet she had picked out, but with a little help from some magical friends, she could store an emergency recharge in a bracelet. She'd worn it the last time she'd been to the student bar and hadn't needed a refill herself to sip a little here and there just to see if it would get stored and half of the excess she'd drained that night had seemed to remain in the bracelet. So it wasn't perfect. But it was better than nothing. Making sure her bag was securely in one hand, and her travel mug in the other, she stopped walking and looked at them all. "You," she started. "If you want to be left alone, then leave me alone. Simple. Nobody's gonna bug you if you don't bug the ones that can see you, dumbass." Hey, he looked like he'd been an adult when he died, so she didn't feel bad about calling him stupid. "But what about the kid you had eaten? He wasn't bugging you." Oh, right. She'd forgotten about the kid she'd fed Louis. "Didn't see you volunteering to take his place," she replied. "Look, it had to be someone, and it's done. Won't happen again."Ana was satisfied when that particular ghosty left her alone at least, and turned to continue walking to her classroom. She was ignoring the others right now because their questions seemed like a much longer conversation. Sadly, she didn’t really get to her door before they started nagging her for answers. “Enough!” She yelled at them. “I haven’t had coffee, haven’t had two moments worth of silence since you guys found me, and you all talk at once. Get yourselves out of my sight right now, or I’ll find something to bind your asses to and bury you on the grounds because I’m all out of patience right now. If you want answers, or you want help, I’m here some other day. But one at a time, so you figure it out amongst yourself somewhere far away from my classroom.” There, that ought to do it. Once she crossed the threshold to her classroom, she didn’t bother closing the door as she made her way to her desk and just slumped down in her chair to try to enjoy her coffee while it was still semi-warm. After the whole thing with Sage, even if she liked Ade, Ana had made her classroom a safe space. None of the ghosts on the grounds could enter it and they could yell all they wanted from outside because they were muted by the spell itself. She needed to be able to teach her class without constant interruptions. And if someone did insist on bring their ghost to class, say if Sage decided to take a class, she would teach him in the greenhouses and rely on him to mute everyone else. The nurse haven't been coming to work for a while yet. Due to the fact he was too depressed after being dumped. It was because he took back up his job. Everything fell part and he was annoyed and really angry die to it. He loved her so much, and sure he accidentally hurt her thanks to his PTSD, but he didn;t mean to hurt her. He wanted to make it work, but she rejected him and pushed him far far away. Alaric was attempted to go back along the dark path of drinking. He had the bottle already in his hand, he was just picking the right moment to take that sip.
Alaric walked pass the classroom and just watched one of the teachers for moment. He noticed it was the same female he bumped into at the pack, with the dogs. The animal never liked him, he didn't know it was due to his werewolf gene or not. Leaning against the doorframe he just watched her, to see what she was teaching. Anything was better than what he was doing right now. Which was to go and fight his urges to drink the alochol in the bottle which was in his hand right now.

After the debacle in the hallway, Ana was glad she had a little time before her class was due to start. She needed to finish her coffee, something she was slowly working on between putting on her gold bracelet and pulling her planner out of her purse. She just needed a gentle reminder what she was supposed to be doing today after being ambushed by the dead. When she spotted the bucket of twigs next to her desk she realized today was grafting day. Ana had been a little distracted of late, so she had forgotten she’d asked the groundskeepers to save her some twigs when they trimmed the bushes before winter. Clearly, they had remembered and brought it to her so she needed to find the rest of what she needed before her students arrived. Picking up the phone in her office, she called the security office. She needed to know if any of the higher risk residents were coming to her class today, and if they were, could a guard be present in the class itself? Today’s thing required some knife-usage. Honestly, even if she wasn’t giving the more dangerous residents and students a knife themselves, they could take one from someone else and cause trouble, so it seemed best to be careful. While Ana didn’t really keep things under lock and key (mainly because she didn’t keep any valuables or dangerous things in her classroom), Ana had a small box in her desk drawer that she kept sharp objects in. Since people around here were unlikely to get their hands on her blood, she had gotten a little help making it so only her blood could open it. And close it again. It seemed like the best place to keep sharp objects for her class or whatever else she might need to keep in her classroom. It wasn’t until she had managed to open her box and pulled out a few small knives and roll of tape that she looked up to see the man leaning against he doorframe. “Would you look at that,” she commented, chuckling slightly. “Here to learn the basics behind grafting? Or did you bring an offering to chase away some ghosts?” she asked, smiling slightly as she gestured towards the bottle in his hand. At least her dogs weren’t around to make things awkward this time around.
