LIAM MCLEAD
_______________________ Things have been horrible since he was stripped from staff and made into a resident in this awful place. Liam couldn't and wouldn't do it anymore. He wanted to be out of this place. He wasn't able to get to the medications as easily to be able to control and stop his shift from happening. This have cause him so much misery as every full moon he would go to the forest and shift into his form (and still can't remember/control it)
Liam have refused to talk to any therapist here, as he knew what they would ask. Every single time he would refused to speak, so he was resigned to one to one appointment. He watched the door every single time and he was escorted again. Thankfully it wasn't the jerk who wouldn't let him go in the first place, he was in his car and the bastard destroyed it almost. He felt it was so petty.
Liam would never forgive that guard ever. His life was now ruined due to it. He was force to sit in one of the rooms waiting to be called. Liam would talk to them, he just wanted to be left alone as he was sore from the last shift and just wanted to rest and heal back up.

Lyss slld the file that he'd been adding notes too into the cabinet beside his door and moved over to pour some bottled water into the little kettle that he kept in his room before flicking that on to boil. It hadn't been too difficult of a day so far, but there was a patient he was due to see who he just kne would be far more difficult than any of the others that he'd seen so far today. The reasoning why was obvious too, he'd once worked side by side beside this man and now he was a patient of his.. It was a little awkward, but Connor had problems. Some prety big problems at that, things that he could hopefully help him work through if he'd let him.
So he opened his office door and looked on out, smiling when he spotted the werehorse, "Connor, hey, you want to come on in?" Even if he said no Lyss would leave the door open for him and reenter the room, calling out again to ask, "tea or coffee? Or hot chocolate maybe?" Those were kind of the only options. As somebody who drinks a lot of tea himself he was used to offering most of his patients a hot drink. So far none of them had thrown it at him so he wasn't going to stop anytime soon.
If he didn't come into the room then he'd leave him be out there. It wasn't like the guy could go anywhere without the correct coding in his wristband, something that he doesn't have anymore.. The addict replacement one that he had was quite different from the staff one he had before. Connor, in Lyss's opinion only had himself to blame for the predicament he found himself in. If he'd asked for help when he needed it then they would have helped him. But insstead he lied, mistreated patients because of his condition, suffered in silence and stole from the medical center. All of which just made him look more like a criminal than somebody who was put into place to help others.
Still. He had been a collegue. Lyss had liked him, he wanted to help.

But music is reflection of self, we just explain it, and then we get our checks in the mail Things were getting worse for Connor. He shouldn’t have to come Manson in the first place. At first it was the best place to find some help for his issue and problem. But he was a rubbish therapist, he didn’t help anyone. He screwed them over as he pushed them out of the door. Now he was paying for that price, when he was caught taking medication from the cabinets by the guard. Connor had never been so scared of his life and it was hard to keep his shift under the control at the time. But it didn’t matter, the boss here has made him into a resident. He would have preferred the sack and allowed to leave. Being force to remain here was torture enough.
He would have turned to leave until he heard a voice calling him. Connor couldn’t believe it. It the same guy he spoke to, with the other guy when he dropped his files on the floor. He wouldn’t talk about anything. He was trying to avoid shifting, his body ached for two or three days afterwards and he was always miserable afterwards. The reason he took the pills, it was the only thing he found was good at keeping it under control. He couldn’t ask them as he didn’t like talking about the other side of him. Signing he entered the room. “Green Tea please” he responded politely as he kept his head down and stroking his hands more.
“Look I am not here to talk about anything. I didn’t want to become a resident here. I would have rather the sack and escorted off the grounds. I prefer to go back home” he mention as he kept his head down, and was playing with the annoying band which was on his arm. He hated the colour as it suits well for him at all, as everything was really sore. Good thing there was no more full moon until next month.

Green tea.. He was quite sure he had a few tea bags for that in the tupperware pot of tea he has beside the kettle. He just made a small sound of affirmation though that he'd make the man a cup of green tea, which proved to be a good thing because as he pried open the tub there was one just sitting there that he plopped into the cup he'd put aside for the ex member of staff. From there he poured in the hot water, plopped a spoon into it and put it down on the little table beside the seat that Connor had taken. There were sugar cubes there too if he preferred it sweeter, Lyss preferred his tea without so he just took his to his desk and plonked himself down in his chair before taking a sip and listening to what Connor had to say.
He didn't understand why he was within these walls at all, did he?
"You're not only a danger to other people but also a danger to yourself, Connor, they won't let you go when you can't control your shifts and you have an obvious drug problem. If you had spoken to us openly about your problems instead of hiding them then perhaps you could have lived as an outpatient. But you didn't. You hid your problem and tried to bury it with lies and drugs." Not to mention if he ended up shifting in front of people then the whole secret of their species would end up being exposed and this man had absolutely no right to put everybody in danger like that purely because he didn't like his circumstances.
"I'm sorry, for what it's worth.. But if you try and improve things, if you choose to cooperate instead of fighting against this then you'll be out of here before you know it, I can promise you that," he doesn't like to see people he'd worked with end up like this, but at the same time he couldn't be too sympathetic, "but, if you'd prefer to fight against it, not talk about what your problems are and ignore it all then you'll be here longer than you'd want to be. So please, Connor, just talk. I'm a shifter too.. Nearly a year now. Just talk to me."

Connor wasn’t used to asking for help. He was stuck in this trap himself. The same trap that he had for his own patients back when he was staff at the same place he was now a resident. Connor didn’t like it. He was now forced to shift every single full moon as he couldn’t get hold of the drugs anymore. He wouldn’t stop attempting to get through the cabinet though. He had his own ways to get what he needed. Anything to stop the shifts from happening when it was the full moon, he didn’t want to do it anymore. It wasn’t something he liked. He didn’t want to talk about it either, he felt like a freak. He never understood why he was forced to become a resident, he has never done anything to make them worry. He could have been escorted from the grounds. If it wasn’t due to the fact the guard Damian ripping his car door off, he would have gone and never came back. But no he was forced to come here and remain here now. “I don’t have a drug problem. I only took them to keep my body from twitching at the end of the month. I am not shifter, stop saying that!” he was in so much denial. He wouldn’t believe the bite he had from the stallion from work, cause him to become some supernatural freak creature. “I haven’t hurt anyone. I kept myself to my myself. Thought you and the other guy would have sense that since I am so nervous. I screwed up as therapist and it wasn’t the right job for me, but that doesn’t deserve a warrant for this treatment” he was very defensive. Connor didn’t know what he was on about when he said to talk to him. Connor didn’t know what the hell to talk about. “Talk about what? Your so confusing me right now” he asked him as he looked at him more. “What are you on about? Shifter’s don’t exist you know” he was in so much denial there. “Can you just put a request the tranquillisers for me please” he asked as it was the thing which can stop the transformations now and his body would always ache from them. So he hoped this guy would help him. Tagged: ULYSSES LLOYD BOWEN Words:Comments:

Liam didn't have a drug problem 'but'.. The other man then came out with a couple of excuses as to why he didn't have a drug problem and to Ulysses it sounded like he was trying to convince himself that he was fine as well as his counsellor. Lyss waited until he had finished talking to say anything himself and just sat sipping at his drink for a moment. How could anybody be in denial that they're a shifter when there's so many signs, not to mention that he must be aware in order to want to get the drugs to calm himself in the first place. Denial seemed to be strong when it came to Liam, so much so that the alpha wolf could almost smell it upon the air.
He could also smell him, there was something undeniably prey like about his scent, Lyss had been a little bit put off by that when he'd first scented him, he didn't want to think of anybody as possible food but it was just nature. Wolves ate other creatures, it didn't mean he was going to eat Connor, he had some control. Some of his shower gels smell nice too but he doesn't guzzle them down like a mindless animal. He didn't think that telling Connor that he smelt like food would be a good thing to say, he didn't want to scare him. Lyss isn't an idiot, so instead he just smiled patiently, "why do you believe you're not a shifter? If you fight this, what you now are, then it'll only lead to pain and suffering in the long run."
Lyss leant back in his chair, having left his drink on the surface nearby and he looked quite comfortably relaxed, something that he found easy to do anywhere actually, "I was a little in denial over it too, Connor. It's terrifying thinking of how the world around us is changing because of what happened.. Did you know of the supernatural before your incident?" Because if not then the denial made a little bit more sense. Lyss had been lucky to know of everything before he'd turned. So he hadn't exactly been the most knowledgable of species and such but he still knew that shifters and vampires and so on existed. He'd even belonged to the Fae for a good few years.. A good thirty odd years actually but he doesn't think about that too much, it gives him a headache.
"I can put in a request for pain killers after the full moon or for whenever else a shift comes over you, but I can't ask them to give them to you on a regular basis.." Does this man not realise that the whole damatic exit he'd tried to make after stealing from the medical facility was what had gotten him into this situation in the first place? "Honesty is always the best policy, when I say 'talk to me' I mean just that, talk to me, about anything that's on your mind no matter how daft or ridiculous or outrageous you think it is. I'm not here to judge you, I'm here to help you in whatever way I can. As long as you understand that I can't do everything.. I have limitations myself."
