It could be a coincidence but since meeting Nate and being given what was supposedly a 'magic coin', Leevi had found his migraines had greatly improved, in fact he hadn't had once since talking to the weird little magic man despite using his telepathy no less then usual. It made Leevi think he should track the guy down and thank him because he had succeeded where the doctor and meds (prescription or otherwise) had mostly failed. The only thing that stopped Leevi doing as such was a slight worry that it was indeed a coincidence, that the coin was nothing more than a placebo (the effects of which he didn't want to lose) or Nate might want the coin back to give to someone else so they could have some luck. Yeah it might be selfish but Leevi wanted to keep it for himself.
To delay things further Leevi took himself to the Sensory Garden. He had been using the excuse of mediation for not needing to have his usual trips to the medical centre and so far the doctors were buying it. Telling them he had a magic coin he was sure would get him locked up and on more of the un-fun meds. Finding a spot under a tree, Leevi flopped down in the grass with his head in the shade and body mostly in the sun. It would be easy to take a nap but Leevi kept his eyes open and watching things going on around, it was still mediative in his opinion, just in a people-watching relaxing kind of way.

Luna was asleep .. Nestled safely in a drawer in an office that she'd been in with her counsellor before he'd gone off to get something. She doesn't know what, he had told her but he forgets things that she doesn't really care about. She had emptied out the drawer and safely nestled her sleeping child into it and left the thing open so nobody would accidentally lock it and then she'd decided she needed a breath of fresh air. So off to the garden she was going with a skip in her step. Lottie hadn't seen Aaron since she'd come on back to Manson but she had been told that he had been found and was being kept in the most secure part of the facility on a decent level of sedation to stop him from being a rampaging maniac.. She wasn't worried. Her little dysfunctional family was technically under one roof so it had all ended up rather nicely even if she does say so herself.
The werewolf skipped into the garden and twirled in a couple of little pirouettes before she just opened her arms and took in a nice, deep breath. That meant she got a lungful of flowery scents and the telltale scent of the chaotikinetic sprawled out on the ground not too far away. She knew his ears didn't work, she'd already established that much but still she decide to sneak around behind the tree, with one hand around the trunk as she leaned around it with a bright grin on her face, "hello there stranger!"
Aware that he wouldn't have heard her she flopped down onto her hands and knees, her hands either side of his shoulders so she was grinning at him upside down, "can you read lips upside down? Is that a party trick? That could totally be a party trick! Maybe you could stand on your head and do it at the same time, balancing whilst doing tricks is super cool. If you don't understand me though, just blink, or smile.. Or give me a fluttering of those lashes, you have some really long eyelashes, never noticed that before.. Can I put mascara on you?"
Lottie hadn't spoken to anybody in a while.. Nobody who couldn't immediately tell her to slow down or shut up.. Or even just grunt at her that is. And Luna isn't exactly great for conversation, she never replies other than gurgling every now and then or crying. It's hard to converse with that.. Kind of boring too actually, Lottie misses people. Unfortunately for Leevi he was going to be bearing the brunt of her repressed energies.

Leevi had pretty good peripheral vision, by no means heightened but he notices things more simply because he can’t hear them. It had proven to be very useful in his more mischievous days and still is, being able to catch that flicker of a siren from behind or a flash of a yellow coat that says somebody official is coming his way. Even still though because he was relaxed and had his mind on other things he didn’t notice Lottie making her way over until she poked her face from behind the tree and was baring over him, grinning. It caused Leevi to flinch and stare up at her as she immediately started into conversation that he really didn’t have a hope of following.
Manoeuvring from under her a little Leevi pushed up and turned around on his knees to face her, a somewhat baffled look to his face as he did so. Not knowing the starting subject he couldn’t so easily begin to lip read her and would, had he a clue she was wondering, have informed that no, he can’t do it upside down either. But she could Sign, so why wasn’t she? Rather than ask what the hell she said, which admittedly Leevi had prejudged to have been random, dumb or just unimportant, he went into his own mini ramble, at speed.
“I met a lucky leprechaun. He gave me a coin, did you know coins can be lucky? I didn’t. I think it works though as I have been using telepathy and it hasn’t made my head feel like it’s being hammered. Have you ever felt like your head was being hammered? Not literally, at least I hope not… But you know, painful. Anyway, having the coin stopped that so I haven’t had the usual meds and meetings for a while. Gave me free time to come out here. I think the luck is running out or has run out now though as the coin isn’t as shiny as it was at first and magic things I think should be shiny, probably go dull if its all gone. That would make sense at least. Anyway I came out here to relax as I don’t want the staff thinking i’m taking other things to help myself, don’t really want to tell them about the coin either incase they think I’m crazy. Told you though as you’re nice and wouldn’t think that.” Resting his hands now Leevi flashed a smile. “How things with you?”

He looked confused, so instantly she didn't think he was going to accept her offer of mascara application.. Not that she had any mascara anyway, a little stick to use near fragile eyeballs? There was no real question about it, as somebody who has stabbed somebody with pencils before she wasn't going to be given something like that. More's the pity, he did have rather nice eyelashes.
A lucky leprechaun. She got that piece of information immediately and her gaze followed the flow of his hands with interest as he continued to speak, those were a lot of words but her mind compartmentalised itself and understood each and everything that he told her. Lottie has no recollection of how she knows the languages that she does, in fact most of the time she doesn't even realise that the things she knows do require learning and study. Mostly she assumes most people are multilingual anyway. By the time he'd come to a stop she'd pushed herself off of the floor so her hands were free and knelt, sitting upon her own feet with a residual happy little smile on her lips. She likes Leevi, he's the hoppy, running on the roof man, he's fun, like a little bunny. But on steroids. Because he's big.
"I want to see the coin," she gestured with her hands, adding an urgent little 'show me, show me'. She was mostly sure that she could get the coin to be all sparkly again, all you have to do is breathe on it and rub it against your jeans. That's how all the other coins come out super sparkly anyway, it was simpy logic but one she would do if Leevi did show her the coin. Even if it didn't make it all magical again at least it would make it slightly more shiny.. Even if only a little bit. She was more excited about the coin than the fact that there's a leprechaun in the facility actually. He thought she was nice though. That made her happy, evident by the brightening of her smile when he 'said' it.
"You're nice too! Not crazy, definitely not crazy, I know crazy, I've seen lots of crazy, there are people here who talk to themselves. Or think they have invisible friends. Ever seen an invisible person? Nope, me either. Crazy," she maneuvered a little so her legs were crossed rather than beneath her, she didn't want to get a dead leg. "I had a baby," she added with a happy little grin, "a little teeny person, she's sleeping now. I put her in a desk drawer, so is safe. Safer than a bush. Safer than a bench.." Lottie hummed to herself for a moment, looking over Leevi curiously, "you seem happier. Because no fake hammers beating your head? That would make me happy, isn't nice being hurt. My electric can hurt. Really ow, like curl in a ball and cry ow. Bet you don't cry though, do you? Not big boohoo tears."

Leevi had almost forgot how good it felt to talk. There were few around here he could talk to with any ease and so he often restricted what he wanted to say to save on effort, time and annoying the person he was trying to have a conversation with. The headaches played a part too, as tiring as writing everything out could be on the hand it was nothing compared to the pain he felt in his head from too much telepathy usage, especially when it was a one-way method of speaking and he still needed any response to be written or spoken simply and clearly to have any hope of lipreading. It made Lottie a bit of a godsend really, Leevi could ignore the weirdness for having someone he can just let lose and ramble to about everything that was on his mind, like the coin and the leprechaun man, and the fact he was feeling pretty damn good for the first time in a long time and hadn’t even taken chemical things to get there… though he planned to leave the drugs part out somewhat.
Grinning a little now though Leevi wasn’t too surprise Lottie asked to see the coin but now there wasn’t much to see, it looked like a dull boring coin that had been in the dirt too long. Reaching into his front pocket though Leevi pulled it out and held it out for her to take. “See, not shiny now.” he said with a small frown but tried to keep hold of the positive feelings the coin had generated just on the chance it was more placebo than magic that had kept him migraine free.
Leevi didn’t think Lottie would be the best judge of crazy but she would tell him what he wanted to hear and that was enough for him right now, because he was nice, he was not nuts, everyone else around here though kinda was, present company somewhat excluded. He chuckled at her logic and nodded, compared to the types she described they were both the definition of sanity. “Nope never.” he said with a grin, how they would really know was another matter but he wasn’t going to argue with Lottie.
The smile faded a little when she announced she had a baby and he glanced to her belly and then up again. A real baby and not a doll? How did that happen? Leevi looked noticeably puzzled and that only got worse as she said she had put the sleeping baby in desk draw for safety.
Giving a nod Leevi was quick to dismiss himself as the subject, “Yeah, happier, lot happier… not sure when I last cried, don’t do it much.” he said but then wanted to get back to the whole baby thing. “Are you talking about real baby not like a doll? How?” it was probably a dumb question but he had to ask as a desk draw really wasn’t a good place for an actual baby to be. “Just babies shouldn’t be in draws, its dangerous, they sleep in cots or baby carrying cases. So you know, they can’t roll over by mistake and suffocate or poke themselves on anything. Where did you leave it?” Not to mention anyone could shut the draw if not take the baby out and run off with it, some of the types here too… babies are snack sized. “Or was that a joke, it wasn’t a funny joke.” he added with a small frown.

The coin was a little anticlimatic, she'd expected something at least a little more shiny than hat he produced but still she took it gently and flipped it over in her fingers to look at both sides, the patterns on the thing were unknown to her which isn't a surprise. But still she tried to look as if she knew what she was doing before she breathed on it and rubbed it against her shirt to buff it up a little. She was smiling when she offered it back, "see, better? A little?" She spoke the words because her hands were a little occupied but she had eye contact and it wasn't a complicated sentence that she spoke, she was sure he'd understand. Still, she was thankful he'd showed her, people tend to get a bit funny and clingy when it comes to their possessions. She does..
Lottie likes it when people laugh, not at her, that just makes her mad but if somebody is amused with something that she says and doesn't portray it in a derogatory way it makes her feel all fluffed up inside. Like she's done something good. She's gone a long, long time hearing people scream and cry when she's around, to have people happy is a whole new world and she likes it. It makes her feel good too. So when he chuckled and admitted that he too had never seen an invisible person or imaginary friend she just grinned happily and resisted the urge to pet Leevi. An urge that was fuelled more by the wolf than her herself, it was more of a touchy creature. Lottie had been learning that not everybody likes being touched, Fabian had probably been the best person to have helped her see that, he definitely didn't do hugs. Self restraint was difficult, but chewing on her thumb nail helped her resist.
She was good. However, not that good because as he continued to sign she maneovered so she was laying down with her head plonked onto his knees looking up at him. It was a compromise in her mind, she got to touch, but wasn't being overly friendly.
How? Lottie blinked up at him with a slightly concerned expression, but slowly made a circle with her finger and thumb on one hand and poked another finger through the hole with her other hand.. Did she have to explain how babies are made? He seemed quite grown up so she would have thought that he would have known by now, but then she hadn't really.. Not entirely anyway. But she did now so it didn't matter about her previous ignorance, "and then baby.." She put a hand on her stomach and lifted it to imitate it expanding.. Then returned to signing, "dolly's don't sleep, Luna does, she smells like me, like a wolfy, but she hasn't shifted yet. I don't know when she's supposed too.. But she's only little, like.. four weeks? That's less than thirty days."
She frowned a little when he did, frowns weren't good.. Was he annoyed with her? "Not a joke. She is safe. Lottie had a meeting and when they left I stayed and Luna wanted sleeps so I put her safe. I closed the door." Lottie didn't like being questioned at the best of times, she's a defensive person and she knows that, Leevi is a friend but he's not Puppy, she doesn't have to listen to him and his instructions, "you can see if you like. She's safe. I closed the door.. I closed it." She didn't lock it but how could she when she doesn't have a key? "stop frowning.. It makes you look grouchy. I don't like it."
... "Want to see? Lottie isn't stupid."

It seemed Lottie was a bit disappointed by the coin but Leevi had warned her it was dull now so he felt she shouldn’t be. He still watched her with mild curiosity as she breathed on the thing, not thinking it would make any difference to the shine but gave a small smile anyway as she rubbed it and then handed it back. It really looked no different to him but he nodded as she asked if it was a little better, he supposed if nothing else being rubbed on her shirt meant it was a tiny bit less dirty than before having been in his pocket for a few days. He gave her a quick ‘thank you’ and then slid it back into his jeans, Lottie was trying to help and that was what matters.
Leevi didn’t want to upset Lottie, he did like the woman despite her obvious odd little quirks and general attitude that made her act a lot younger than she looked. It did make him a tiny bit wary of her but then he was like that with most around here being that he was purely gifted with no other supernatural blood to fall back on should he piss off the wrong person. Leevi didn’t think he get harmed by Lottie intentionally but she had before mentioned about her electric gift, the last thing he wants is to be zapped by that even accidentally. His own ability could be triggered by emotion, good or bad… So it was for the best Leevi was not petted right now, it was likely he would have flinched a little with the idea that giggly Lottie could become static-y Lottie.
But then she was moving and placing her head in his lap. Leevi wasn’t sure what to do about that but he been busy speaking so by the time he stopped she was already there and he didn’t have the heart to shove her away. She seemed relaxed so he didn’t think anything would get fried.
He wasn’t after an explanation as to how Lottie made her baby but rather how she been allowed to make a baby, more how she was allowed to keep it too. Staring at her as she made the gesture, Leevi for a moment probably did look confused like he needed a guide but soon shook his head to try and say that wasn’t what he was asking but… He guessed what he wanted to know would probably upset Lottie somewhat so maybe it was better not to question? For all he knew she was not keeping the baby or it was actually a doll she convinced herself was real. And given a name too… And supernatural qualities.
“Luna?” Leevi asked and then glanced away and towards the Therapy Building. If this was made up then Lottie had given the story a lot of thought.
But this all didn’t explain why she left her baby in a draw, what kind of normal mother does that? “But a draw? Like where you put books and clothes and other stuff?” he asked, though he was thinking this might be more an office draw if Lottie had been in a meeting. Clothes draw and he could maybe, just a little understand Lottie’s logic. Leevi couldn’t wipe the concern from his face though even as Lottie asked him to because in his view, you don't deserve a kid if you are not going to look after it or think a draw is a good enough place for a baby to nap.
“Yeah. Show me Luna. I want to see her.” he said and put on a semi-forced smile. He wanted more to rescue her but resisted the urge to go running of to find this possible fake baby. “Didn't say you were stupid but you shouldn’t leave her too long, she might be waking up soon and then babies want feeding. I know what babies are like, they are always hungry after naps and if you don’t get her the crying might make someone else go looking and find her.”

Lottie was confused.. He was shaking his head a little at her explanation as to 'how' and the shewolf just blinked up at him at a complete loss as to how else to explain how babies are made. She would be pretty offended if he asked how she got to keep a child so it was for the best that he kept that question to himself.. But it also meant that she now saw Leevi as somebody who needs to know about how that all works. He may well find the biology book she'd read slid under his door at one point sometime soon, with the specific reproduction pages dog eared.
Her brow furrowed a little when he questioned the sleeping place again and she nodded ever so slightly, "yes. There were papers in there. I took them out. She has a big fluffy blanket, it's fine." Why was he suddenly being such a worry wart like this? Lottie had wanted to get away from this whole parenting thing for just half an hour or an hour.. She wanted to relax and not really think about it all but now she was starting to feel like she couldn't even do that without having somebody making her feel like she was being inadequate. The dark haired woman sat herself up and glanced back at Leevi with a small frown on her lips. Why did he care so much anyway? He didn't even know her..
But he wanted to see her. He was even smiling again. She looked suspiciously at him with a frown, a few long moments passing where she didn't make a move, just listened to what her instincts were telling her to do. Which was mostly to just sit here and refuse to show him simply because she can be a stubborn bitch and he's making her feel like she's done something wrong. Lottie doesn't like second guessing herself and he was making her feel a little bit stupid, nervous.. Anxious really, she was listening now, trying to hear whether or not the small girl she'd stashed away was crying out, she couldn't hear anything. That wasn't reassuring to her though.
"Fine." She signed finally, giving a sigh but she stood to her feet and offered him a hand. She knew Luna would want feeding when she woke up, she knew the kid would cry, but still she didn't much like that her 'me' time had been compromised because somebody else was concerned over the kid. He could at least have asked he other questions, or praised the fact that she'd even had a baby. It had been hard work! She was used to high levels of pain, but it had been a type she's never experienced before and she wanted some goddamn praise. He electricity was kept to herself right now but she still kind of wanted to grab his face and growl at him, possibly butt her forehead against his own and tell him he's being a damn party pooper. The urge might be visible in the slightly hostile glimmer in her eye.. Or the way she somewhat more grouchily began to walk back to the therapy building.
She didn't once look back to see if he was following, she could smell him, so when she opened the door of the room she'd stored Luna in. Little muffled sounds could be heard but no cries.. Little snuffling breathing sounds so the baby was either waking up or she was having a dream. Lottie wasn't worried. At least she'd be easily seen where she'd put her, in the bottom draw of the counsellor's desk. The paperwork she'd removed just strewn over the floor haphazardly.
"If she's awake, you can touch her."

For Leevi it would be easy to let his gift flow out, create a bit of panic in Lottie and force her to see some sense of concern in what she had done but he knew that could also trigger something worse, like her wolfing out or lighting up the garden and he didn’t want that, he just wanted her to be less casual about where she had left her own child. To him, it was like she saw the baby as a doll even if it did turn out to be real. Just a toy to mother when it felt fun and to dump when was convenient wherever vaguely seemed suitable. Sure, he couldn’t say for certain his assumption was true, he known of this baby and how Lottie was looking after her all of five minutes, but it touched a nerve to hear somebody like Lottie was even allowed to make a child, keep it and she was left alone long enough to be able to dump it in a draw. Somebody was failing somewhere.
When Lottie agreed to let him see Luna, Leevi had to resist the urge to get up and march on ahead to try and find the little girl. Rescue her even. It meant he took a few long breaths in and out to relax himself, feeling a slight tension in his head brewing but he tried to ignore it and refocused on the here and now and whatever effects might linger in the coin in his pocket, before taking Lottie’s hand and standing to follow her.
Lottie looked annoyed but Leevi really couldn’t care less, she was the one who thought a baby in a draw was a good idea, not even her bedroom draw by the sound of it but rather an office draw. He couldn’t imagine it was the cleanest of things.
Walking into the counsellor office Leevi set eyes on the desk and walked around to see to some surprise, an actual baby there. Admittedly his next thought was that she might have taken it but that seemed unlikely so he guessed it must really be Lottie’s child. Luna seemed like she was awake and since he had permission to touch her, Leevi picked the kid up carefully with the blanket.
‘She is cute’ he said, pushing the words out with his mind since his hands were full. He couldn’t help but feel a little bit envious.

The office was warm and it smelt like both wolf and her child so Lottie was certain nobody else had entered the room since she'd left, but then she'd only been gone for half an hour at most so that wasn't a surprise to her in the slightest. The she wolf was unaware of just how wound up Leevi was over this whole thing, she wasn't the best at reading other people's emotions and so in her mind he was just being overly curious about her daughter.. Not that she can blame him, she is incredibly cute, incredibly lovely, and why wouldn't she be? She'd made her all herself. Kind of. Aaron's job hadn't been all too difficult in her mind and she'll kick anybody in the shins if they say otherwise.
She sighed and dropped down into an armchair within the room, still but watching him carefully as he carefully picked up her daughter.. She didn't cry out otherwise she would have gone to her but for now she let Leevi hold her. And then words came to her mind and she blinked in mild surprise, she often forgot that he could do that. It seemed weird.. His lips not moving but the words reaching her none the less, she smiled brightly though, he'd said something that changed her grumpy little personality instantly, "she is! Very much, I love her."
But she was hard work, constant work.. And apparently she couldn't leave her even for a couple of minutes? It was all a bit much.. What would happen when the full moon came around? She wanted to go and run, hunt and just be herself for the night. But how could she when she was weighed down by the small little person. Lottie loves her, but she wishes that she can have some more time to herself. She doesn't resent Luna at all, of course not, but she has started to feel quite a bit of resentment towards her father, the man who's locked up within the lowest parts of Manson under constant supervision. What use is he there? Stupid head popping off twat.
"Her daddy is all locked away though," she signed, "locked up and useless. Useless.. She's very demanding and Lottie's alone." Perhaps it was the thought of Aaron being unable to do anything helpful that was making the blues of her eyes light up slightly with flashes of lightning, the first indication that she wasn't happy. But then this wasn't what she's expected, this wasn't much of a family, "Leevi should babysit for me? Babysit doesn't mean sit on her, means watch her. Let my wolf be a wolf for a little bit? She will shift one day, she smells like a wolf, but she hasn't yet and.. She can't walk, or roll or do anything and they told me I can't look after her as a wolf so.. So I can't shift." She was sounding a little bit exasperated, obvious with the more dramatic movements of her hands. It's more than possible to convey frustration with sign language.
".. Help? Don't let her get eaten by bigger people?" If the worst comes to it she's sure they'd much rather eat Leevi than the baby anyway.. He's meatier.

Leevi thought he might have annoyed Lottie a little but he didn’t really care, he was still set on the idea that no right thinking parent would leave their child in a draw no matter how comfy they made it. It didn’t seem like anyone had been in here in he meantime either but he thought that was beside the point, someone could have come in as easily as they had and it might not have been someone was nice.
With the little girl in his arms now a lot of the frustration left Leevi, babies could be responsive to that kind of thing and he didn’t want to upset Luna. She was cute and he gave a small smile hearing Lottie speak up in agreement. Love was good but babies need other things too.
Moving around a little Leevi sat on the edge of the desk and facing Lottie, as tempting as it was to go and find a staff member or encourage Lottie to retell her thinking to them to get second opinion on how bad it was to leave Luna in a desk, he held back as he knew that could create tension and maybe it was the first bad move Lottie had made. Luna looked about a month old, Lottie had to be doing something right to keep her alive that long without staff intervention.
Focusing back to Lottie as she started talking, Leevi frowned a little hearing the dad in this wasn’t much help. He couldn’t say he was very surprised though, it might be judgemental but he figured if Lottie got pregnant then it had to be by someone on the same level as her, literally as in the secure facility and mentally, so a bit of a sandwich short of a full picnic, to put it a politer way. “You are not totally alone.” Leevi corrected, he was sure staff here are helping and he would himself in an emotional way if it was really wanted, though he did not volunteer that mainly as he wasn’t sure he was the best option either. The colour Lottie’s eyes went put him off too… he didn’t want to get zapped for doing the wrong thing unintentionally.
But then Lottie did ask about babysitting. Leevi didn’t need the clarification although his face did look a bit shocked. He made a small ‘um’ sound and glanced down to Luna before moving to give her back to her mother, she was stirring a little so maybe hungry or just wanting a familiar face. Once his hands were more free he sat in another chair and thought a moment before replying. “Wouldn’t another wolf be better for babysitting, like someone from the pack here? I mean, I can’t talk to her and she would be used to hearing someone’s voice. I don’t think they would let me babysit anyway. Protection wise, I can’t do a lot, not supernatural like most here.” Pushing panic was his thing but inevitably that just made a situation worse.
He could see Lottie was frustrated and he didn’t want to make it worse, he didn’t want to totally leave her and Luna to it either but as frustrated as he was too, he knew he wasn’t really a great second option.

"Look.." Lottie got to her feet and wandered on over to Luna and Leevi to push up the little pink hat on her head a little, "she has my hair.. Is all pale and tufty." Obviously she wasn't talking about her hair at the moment, she has somebody who dyes that for her for as long as she remains well behaved anyway. It was a treat for her. Her wolf was as white as snow and her own natural hair colour a dirty blonde, not that Leevi knew either of those things. She's pretty damn certain that Leevi has never seen her wolf before.. She'd have remembered that for sure. She remembers most who have seen her like that, because she pretty much demands compliments from them afterwards and she can't recall any compliments of her beautiful white fur.
Lottie would say that her picnic is quite full, but of course that wasn't true. Aaron on the other hand, he didn't seem to hold life in high regard but he was sane enough. She wouldn't say so, she believes he hadn't treated her as well as she needed too. Regardless of the fact that being locked away wasn't his fault in the slightest. She'd still argue that he could do more.
"Pft," she mumbled at being corrected suddenly, "no. Not alone alone, there's puppy and alpha, and you and there should be Zacky too but I can't find him.. It's hard," to find the fae and to be looking after a baby all of the time. She can't just do whatever she wants anymore and even though this was something that she'd wanted, she'd wanted somebody to love and love her back, she hadn't thought it would make her feel so lonely. It might get better when Luna started talking and responding to her, but for now she was just a little baby, not really capable of doing much more than crying, pooping, eating and sleeping.
She wouldn't go electrocuting anybody when her daughter was nearby, she may have caused a couple of little static shocks in the past month but nothing that had really affected the small girl in the slightest. Thanks to her fathers genes she'd most likely survive being hit by lightning but Lottie wasn't willing to try that out for obvious reason. And it'd be a bloody horror show if somebody attempted to try it. A lot of blood shed and possible dead staff members. So Leevi was safe, especially whilst he held her daughter. But then he was handing her back over and she hesitated but then went and gently took the little girl into her own arms before wandering back to the chair and rested back with the baby laying against her front.
He did have a point too.. "This office belongs to a wolf, can't you smell it?" So technically, she had done what he was saying and left another wolf babysitting. Except he wasn't here. Then Leevi pointed out that he wasn't supernatural like a lot of the people here were.. And a bright idea occured to her, "want Lottie to bite you? I can change and do it, I could try, just bite bite bite as gentle as I can and then supernatural Leevi! Do you think if you did shifts it would make your ears fix?" She wriggled around a little, resulting in her placing Luna in the crease of the armchair cushions comfortably and then she was bouncing onto her feet and approaching Leevi with every intention on just crouching down in front of him, "then you can help! Talking doesn't matter, cos you make some noises, you can make noises.. I hear it, what d'ya say? I bet you''d be a handsome blonde wolfy, not as nice as me, but pretty pretty, and it don't hurt, I don't think." She was never bitten so she can't really say for sure.
She looked friendly and helpful enough, genuinely thinking that this was a great idea and offer. Who doesn't want to be an awesome wolf?! Better than being a slowly dying human or falling prey to a stupid Vampire.

Leevi wasn’t paying much attention to Luna’s hair, a lot of babies were born with fair hair and it gets darker as they age, so why would he? If they have any at all… Though he did note it was nothing like Lottie’s hair now that it was pointed out. He assumed she must dye it, unless the wolf was blonde? Can it be different? It was questions that were not important right now and he felt probably would offend Lottie a little if he asked and so he just gave a small if slightly awkward smile to the mummy wolf and nodded in agreement.
He had no idea who puppy was but assumed alpha meant one the pack leaders here, who he also did not really know as such other than a brief encounter with one he rather forget. Zack was a name he had heard mentioned but again had chosen not to enquire to learn more about the man, it seemed he was another lacking a full picnic, though with decidedly more violent results. Why the hell Lottie would want to find such a person, he had no idea and just added a bit more to his view she might have all the best intentions but ultimately, Lottie was not fit to be a full time mother.
It should see him hold on to Luna and run but he didn’t, wouldn’t… had to trust the staff knew what they were doing as for all he knew, Lottie was losing Luna and they were just working out how to tell her without Manson and those within it short-circuiting.
Giving a shake of his head, Leevi couldn’t smell wolf, he couldn’t smell much of anything distinctive inside the office as he didn’t have a heightened sense of smell. Besides, even if that was true, there was no wolf here now and so Luna had been left alone and open to anyone who might want to walk in and help themselves to a newborn baby. It wasn’t right…
Concern for Luna turned to concern to himself next as Lottie offered a quick fix to the problem he was not wolf. As much as he had at times fantasised about gaining an extra species he had never got to a point where he wanted to go through with it. His expression probably showed how he felt in some contrast to how excited he could see Lottie was with the idea. He lifted his hands to say something but found he was lost for words a moment. “No. Why would it?” he said but he had never actually thought if supernatural blood would fix his ears. This was how he was born, it wasn’t through illness or injury. “I wouldn’t want it to… Wouldn’t teach me to talk and I have to learn English over again.” he said, hoping Lottie wasn’t going to take rejection badly or even just leap and try and bite anyway.
Seeing her put Luna down he did get a bit worried but so far she was just staying crouched in front of him. “What noises?” he asked next suddenly a bit self conscious, unless she meant when he did try and speak. Well, damn… Leevi really thought he was making some recognised words. Shaking his head, both to say he didn’t really care for an answer to that particularly and the whole plan, Leevi forced another smile. “I don’t want to be a wolf. I can help in a small way, support you or you can just rant at me when things don’t go well.”

If Leevi tried to run away with Luna he'd find her close behind him wondering where they were off too.. At this stage she doesn't think that the deaf human is a threat to either her or to her child. Neither does she know what Leevi's gift is or understand that he could set her off into a dark pit of panicked fear that would most likely have her simply hiding beneath the counsellor's desk shaking and crying.. No, that wasn't even on her mind right now in the slightest, if anything she'd kind of wished he'd held onto Luna for longer. When the babe had been younger she'd not wanted to let go of her, but now she kind of likes seeing people holding her because it means that she'll be getting used to lots of different scents, it meant she didn't have to hold her constantly.
And she had to find someplace else 'suitable' to put her. Lottie didn't want to be reprimanded about putting her someplace unsuitable again.
But that didn't seem to be happening, she remained comfortably crouched in front of Leevi, her smile failing when he didn't look particularly thrilled about her offer. Would he rather be a stupid cat or maybe even a bear like that one she'd seen floating around the lake in the summer? She'd never know why anybody would want to be anything but a wolf, they have the best structure, the best family, the best everything. They're amazing. But Leevi didn't want too.. She frowned at him and swatted his knee in a reprimanding nature.
"English is easy, I could help, I will help.. And being a wolf took away my sharp fangs, I don't bite people no more, and I'm warm! So it should fix things you want fixed too." She reached to touch his hand with hers just to show that her fingers weren't chilly to the touch. She had no intentions on grabbing or doing anything to hurt him. Not quite yet anyway, and even if she did it wouldn't be done on purpose. As for the noises he makes, she grinned a little, a little laugh escaping her and she patted his knee affectionately before falling back onto her bum on the floor before him, "noises. Like when you're confused. Or find something funny. Or.. I don't know, noises." She'd never heard him attempt to speak before so she wasn't referring to that, just the natural sounds one makes without thinking of it. Like his laugh.
A small pout came to her lips, "but.. if you're a wolf you can help in a bigger way. I can shift now and do it? Then you can join in on the full moon runs! Wouldn't that be fun? You don't have to be scared." She's not too sure how it works, but she's sure if she nibbles on him enough something will happen.

Leevi didn’t give much credit to Lottie’s teaching ability so that would be another thing he would be turning down. If he wasn’t going to be a wolf then it really was a moot point anyway. Looking to the woman, Leevi wondered if she was really taking onboard the fact he had, in his view even if not hers, firmly rejected the offer. ‘I don’t want to be a wolf’, how can that be made clearer? Rather than get annoyed now despite how much he kind of wanted to swat Lottie back, Leevi put on a sympathetic smile and shook his head. He needed things added to hear and he was pretty sure wolf genes are not magical enough to do that.
He wasn’t a great deal more comforted after Lottie explained what she meant by noises, it just sounded like a negative thing to him because laughter was laughing and noise could be annoying. “No. I really don’t want to be a wolf.” Leevi said again, looking a bit more determined as he said it. Fear had little to do with it, the idea simply was not very desirable to him and assuming the chaos gift stayed, it seemed overall a bad idea to have a newbie wolf running around unable to control its shifting or the fact it is pushing fear to everyone in the area. “Dangerous. It could hurt me and other people.”
Would she get that? Leevi wasn’t always sure how much thought the woman put to other people and their needs beyond what she wanted here and now, but if needed he would get blunt about it.
