"Sounds like kidnapping with a mix of consent. Do I need to add you to the list of troublemakers," he joked. "I'm down for dancing so long as no one's going to show up and crash the party. Maybe I'll even find me a pretty little brunette." That was one thing he did miss, going out to the clubs and living it up. Loud music, plenty of drinks and pretty women. "Shoot me a text, call, whatever when you want to go out." This he could get on board with.
Ozymandias would have loved the idea of showering in his own room. He didn't have a problem with walking the halls to the community shower, but the fact that he had to share it was about as entertaining as watching paint dry. Let's not forget the fact that he was sharing said shower with a bunch of dudes. That was not his cup of tea. He sometimes joked that if you gave him a couple of centuries he might change his mind, but Ozzy was very unlikely to do as much. "Sometimes playing it safe is okay, at least in the case of anything that provides music." He'd be devastated if anything happened to his guitar. His phone he could live without. No one was calling him anyway.
Ozzy would have preferred someone with muscle to have his back if he decided to visit the necromancer. He wouldn't trust that lady as far as he could throw her. Visiting her at all seemed like a horrible idea just waiting to happen, but Sorrel was right, he could use some backup. "I'll hold you to your word." The vampire gaze a small bow that was hardly graceful. He'd just been mimicking all the vampires he'd watched in the movies. Ozymandias got a kick out of it. He'd even purchased an assortment of gothic victorian clothing. Ruffles were suddenly very in when you were part of the undead. "Not if she has an army of the undead at her disposal. Then she can rule the world," he said dramatically. Oz gave a laugh before he settled down a bit. "How about you accompany me if I ever decide to visit her."

Sorrel couldn’t help but chuckle slightly at the kidnapping notion. “Well, I asked if he wanted to go, he did the traveling, but traveling through shadows? Hell, it was worth getting into a little trouble for.” Sorrel had no regrets about that at all. Lauri hadn’t seemed like he was bad news to him, so he hadn’t really thought too much about why he wasn’t supposed to leave the grounds. “Sounds like a plan,” he said, smiling at Oz. Yeah, he wouldn’t mind going to Carpe again with the vampire and just show him a good time. “Guess I better make sure to wear proper clothing,” he added as an afterthought. Meaning, he had to actually put on pants and a shirt at least, and not just borrow whatever he found laying around.
Music really did make the world a better place, especially when it allowed him to be alone with his thoughts. He wasn’t entirely wasted right now, so it had given him some much needed privacy while he was drying off.
Necromancy wasn’t really his forte, he didn’t know much about it at all, except that it could bring people back to life. He gently bumped his fist into Oz’s arm when he bowed like that. “You’ve been watching way too many movies,” he said, unable to hold back the laugh really. It was ridiculous, but it was spot on for what they did in a lot of movies, so he couldn’t deny that it was amusing. “Well, if nothing else maybe she’ll help me get rid of my ghost problem,” he said, smiling slightly at Oz. “Or at least calm the bastard down enough that he’ll actually want to talk rather than yell at me. Just let me know a little ahead of time so I can try to be a little bit sober at least?” It seemed like a fair request as it seemed like the sort of thing he’d need to have his head about him for.

"Define traveling through shadows." Ozymandias didn't know what that was, but he was a curious man, and if he could find answers to his questions, then he was more than willing to ask. Perhaps he would find some inspiration to write with all of this new information. Ozzy was doing his best to avoid trouble, but the man was a sucker for a wild adventure if it meant having a spectacular time. He was currently keeping his nose clean for his daughter's sake, but if he had to stay here much longer, he'd be down for a night of fun, minus the drinking and drugs. Not that he could do either of those things without feasting upon someone's blood. He didn't think that would blow over too well with Manson or the civvies. "Clothes are a good idea, but whatever floats your boat. I'm not going to dictate what you wear, so long as you're having a good time."
"I like to think of it as a hobby," he mused in regards to him watching too many movies. "Van Helsing, Interview With Vampire, and Bram Stoker's Dracula have taught me a majority of what I need to know," he snickered. "It's educational at best." He crossed his arms behind his head. "Maybe I'll order Rosetta Stone and learn French. Every good vampire knows French." Ozymandias raised a brow. Could this necromancer truly help his new found friend? They raised the dead, so getting rid of a few ghost shouldn't be too difficult right? He wasn't one for optimism, but for Sorrel he would be just that. "Yelling is overrated. Maybe you should try sweet talking him. I'm kidding. We shall see if the necromancer can give your bothersome ghost a chill pill or send him to the otherside so you can both get some rest." He snickered. "Yeah, sober up and then when it's all said and done I'll buy you as many drinks as you want and then we'll dance the night away like high school sweethearts at the Sadie Hawkins Dance."

Define travel through shadows… Well, how did he really define that other than explain his experience with it all? “Well, had to stand really close, and it got really dark, but one moment we were here, a few moments later everything was normal again and we were at Carpe,” he said, chewing his lip for a moment. “Don’t really know how else to explain it, but it was wicked cool.” He hoped that would do for defining it, because he didn’t really know how to explain what Lauri could do. He appreciated the fact that Oz wasn’t going to tell him what to wear though, that made it a lot easier to just pick something to wear.
Sorrel nodded when he learned that it was a hobby. Clearly, he enjoyed the stereotypical vampires and it was amusing. “You should totally go find the other ectomancer here. Sage? He seems into all that stuff too and would probably find it both amusing and educational too.” It wasn’t meant as an offense at all, he genuinely thought Sage would enjoy all that and particularly viewing all that with a vampire.
He appreciated the fact that this stranger was willing to help him go see this necromancer to see if maybe she had some help with his father. He knew he should know how to get rid of him on his own, but he honestly couldn’t remember right now. “Now that sounds rather pleasant,” he said, chuckling slightly. “Dancing and just having fun. Heck, maybe if I get rid of him, I can start to remember how to properly use my gifts.” Part of the problem was that he couldn’t really focus enough to remember how to do half the stuff he should be able to do.

Man this place was full of unique individuals. Oz was jealous to be stuck as a vampire when he could have been made into something so much greater. Preferably something that could walk in the sunlight, but hey, beggars couldn't be choosers. Not that he was begging. He was too prideful for that. The only thing he would even remotely beg for was his humanity back. "It sounds cool," Oz responded with obvious envy. "So, since we're officially friends now, are you going to be a best friend and introduce me to all your cool buddies so I'm not forever stuck with the generic nightwalkers?" Ozzy gave the other male a sly smile. "I'm not looking to get into trouble or anything, but I'm a social butterfly if you get past the sarcasm and bad attitude, but who doesn't have their days?"
Interesting name that. Sage. Well, he didn't have room to talk, his name was Ozymandias. Cheers to his parents for being obsessed with their literature. He wondered how Sage ended up with his name. Maybe he'd seek him out and ask. "Noted," he said in response after a moment of letting his thoughts run wild with the endless possibilities of how the other gained their namesake. Hell, even Sorrel had an interesting name. "Wait a minute. Are you two related? I mean, what are the chances of two ectomancers being named after herbs? Coincidence? I think not!" He burst into laughter. He really couldn't help himself. Oz was rarely in a good mood these days, but tonight seemed to be special.
"Pre cheers to figuring all of this shit out," Oz said, toasting the air without a glass in hand.

Sorrel was loving this place. Not only did it house a spectacular group of people, it also housed a spectacular group of gifts. Sure, it also housed a few nasties, alive and dead, but so far it seemed like it was an ok place to stay. Certainly a lot more interesting than screwing up like he’d been doing before. “Oh, I’m going to introduce you to all the best people I’ve met so far,” he agreed. “Everybody deserves awesome friends. Might even introduce you to some of the dead ones if I come across any friendlies.” Sorrel wasn’t opposed to lending a little strength to someone to make them physical if it meant they got to meet his new friends. Sorrel had enjoyed Oz’s company so far, he didn’t see a reason to avoid introducing him to people.
“He won’t say,” he said, momentarily making the ghost that loved yelling at him visible to Oz before he waved him away again. He’d finally gotten the shit to shut up thanks to Sage. Constantly on mute. He needed not to be entirely sober to drown out everyone else. “Wouldn’t surprise me though, he’s always been a bit of an ass. Sleeping around doesn’t sound out of character.” Sorrel wouldn’t be surprised if it was the truth, but he kinda would rely on medical tests rather than what the ghost had to say about the matter at this point.
“Right. I should probably go get dressed, or at least return to my room before they send out search parties. Come find me for a fun night out. Or you know, just give a ring?” He sure wouldn’t mind hanging out with Oz again in the future, he seemed like a fun guy.
